Damnit i screwed up! I took the hit and now I was clutching my chest as blood started pooling on the floor. The exhaustion from before already was taking a toll on me . I feel to my knees dropping the spear, I feel on my side as I attempted to stop the bleeding but the cut was to deep

"S-shit... wasn't expecting to go down like this, why didn't i see that attack coming?"

Sans:" Kris! Just Hold On! You Can't Die Like this"

'He's right but with how things we going... this would've happened sooner or later damnit! Either way i wouldve been killed!'

Sans:" Come on Kid! You Cant just Give Up!"

'Damn it...my ...visions fading...I can't... I won't... I won't ...give up!'

3rd P.O.V

Change Scene

???:"Huh, so he wasn't able to finish him off, that's pathetic"

???:"Give him some pity, he held out a lot longer then we had anticipated. In fact if it wasn't for his strength as well as his very own determination, you most likely wouldn't had made it on time"

Two entities spoke as they stared at a screen in the middle of what seemed to be an empty voice, showing Kris on the floor trying to stay alive but having a difficult time due to his heavy injury

???:"Tsk don't remind me"

???:"Are you sure your willing to do this?"

???:"I wouldn't be here if I wasn't so sure of what I want to do"

???:"Very well but be warned, once he receives your soul your own life will be extinguished permanently and even a reset won't bring you back to life. Youd be lucky to have a few last words with him before his presence would over power your own"

???:"That's Exactly why I'm giving up my soul, I'll no long have to deal with all of the nightmarish resets and have to worry about being torched to death again and again, ill finally rest in peace"

???:"I understand, thank you for this opportunity"

???:"Just get it over with Gaster"

Gaster sighed as he manifested a floating hand on a unique and bright soul, he clutched his fingers resulting the soul to be surrounded in a blue glow, the owner of the soul groaned in pain as Gaster pulled his hand back, bring the soul to float above his now relaxed hand as the owner of the soul grinned and began to turn to dust

???:"He better make all this worth my sacrifice"

The user smiled as they turned completely turned into dust as Gaster turned back to the screen and raised the soul to the screen and zoomed in on Kris as he pushed soul onto the screen. the soul disappeared from the void and was absorbed into Kris

Gaster: "I assure you, that he of all people will indeed make full use of your sacrifice, Betty"

Change Scene

As frisk had attempted to kill sans once again, Kris's body suddenly emitted a bright light, completely blinding the two. frisk jumped away preparing for a surprise attack but was shocked when Kris stood up as if he wasn't on the floor fatally wounded, the tips of his hair turned bright pink and his face changed to a bit of an unsettling sight

He grinned at frisk as he picked up the spear and tilted his head to the side, it made both sans and frisk shiver seeing the look in his eyes

"What's wrong Frisk? You seem scared"

The spear changed to a bright color pink and began to change its form into an entirely different weapon

"Good"

The spear change completely to that of a pink death scythe

"YOU SHOULD BE SCARED!"

In just a split moment frisk found himself cut in half, before his now dead body could land to the ground he vanished yet again but this time with a look of dread on his face. I grinned, feeling satisfied seeing that look on Frisks face turning around I face sans who looked like he was about ready to attack me in self defense. Not that I really blame him, I mean. I know for a fact that I look different but I sure as hell FEEL different. Its like something changed inside of me.

"Hey you good there sans?"

Sans didn't say anything but instead used his blue magic on me, this time it actually worked and a soul came out. I was absolutely gobsmacked realizing that I had both a soul and at that it was a Fear Soul! of All the Traits! I don't understand how I got the fear trait

"U-um sans... what should I do?! I know that different soul traits results in different forms of magic but why do i have this one?!"

I asked in a panic, while im somewhat releaved that i have a soul. I was actually freaking out about the fact that I had an actual soul this time and whats more is that it was the fear soul from glitchtale!. I mean I expected since I was reincarnated as Kris that I would've gotten a determination soul but I guess not everything soul be as it's expected to be

Sans:"Kris you need to calm down- hold on,You are Kris right?"

"What the-? Of course I am sans, who else would I be?"

Sans:"Kris, in certain cases if someone were to absorb a soul, the soul could actually take control or make an appearance to the one who absorbed the soul"

"I get what you're saying sans, I wonder though whoever this soul original belonged to could've taken control of me... in all honesty, based on everything I just had gone through this really shouldn't be a surprise"

I let out a sigh as sans released me from his blue magic

'Wait now that I think about, of all the fandom aus there's only a handful of powerful monsters or humans that weren't influenced by players. Betty was never used or controlled by player, this means that If I truly never wanted to be under the control of player then the fear soul is definitely the best choice since it's proven that players were never able to control betty'

"That aside, Sans I actually feel great! I don't know where this soul came from or maybe it just manifested. It feels like something broke free, like something was holding me back from going all out and the moment I gained this soul. It felt like the chains that held me back just shattered into pieces"

Sans:"So you were being held back? Thats great and all kid but that soul is completely unstable. You shouldn't even be able to use it"

"The odd thing is the fact that I don't feel any difference if anything I just feel like I have more energy that's about it but right now we have other things to do"

I said turning around and saw frisk and his face proved that he was absolutely livid

"Cuz I think i just found my new test dummy and I wanna make sure he regrets ever crossing us"
