Raph likes to feel he gives his brother's their space, gives them enough room for them to spread their shells while he hovers nearby ready to step in and help them if he needs to.

But when Donnie and Leo went away all the way to Egypt without him around to protect them especially so soon after the invasion he still panicked.

Okay granted it had been nearly a year but still!

Donnie had been so excited at the chance to study Ancient Egyptian though and Leo looked like he could really use the change of scenery for awhile. Raph would have gone with them, but Mikey had finally convinced Meat sweats to apprentice him and Raph was not gonna leave his little brother around that turtle soup obsessed pig mutant.

After assurances from Draxum about how he knew the Yokai Donnie was going to work with and strict rules the two needed to follow including a daily check in Raph let them go hoping the other would look out for one another.

Then out of nowhere Raph's big brother sense started to tingle like crazy. Mikey was fine so that meant the twins were in danger.

He called, they picked up, said they were fine hung up. The next day Raph's tingle was even worse so he called, they answered, repeat of the first time. They sent a text of Leo on a camel and Donnie pushing a camel away from himself and this did ease Raph's tingle a little figuring he was just overreacting.

But then it went completely haywire that he had to call his brothers only both of their phones went straight to voice mail. Neither of them never declined a call especially from him, especially when calling phone addict Donnie.

Still Mikey and April told him not to worry saying that they probably just had too much fun on the town or Donnie was in a study binge again. Yet Raph still worried, he called them straight for the next few hours, before he got the idea to call the museum curator and heard that Donnie hadn't shown up. Calling the hotel they said neither twin had been seen in nearly two days.

Well that sent Raph into a panic so grabbing Mikey from his bed, going to April's and grabbing her as well, he ran all the way to Draxum's apartment at 1 am in the morning demanding a portal to Cario. The Yokai had been asleep at the time and too tired to do anything but make the portal that they jumped through only with April's bat and the pjs on their backs.

First order of business for them was to get some new clothes as they couldn't walk around Cario in their Pjs.

April wore a button up blouse with a yellow scarf wrapped around her neck and cream yellow jeans with comfortable green running shoes. Mikey and Raph wore buttoned up shirts like April, but took to wearing brown shorts and Mikey also wore a hat to protect himself from the sun.

After that he spent the entire day searching the entire city with April and Mikey searching for them. All they could find out was that they were last seen at a boating dock talking with a rabbit, but not before finding out they had visited a prison where their warden was a known pervert who had a "interest" in twins and had also been seen heading to the docks the twins were seen at and he had been missing for a few days as well telling his co-workers that he was taking a few days off to "take care of something special".

Now back at the hotel Raph was stalking down a hall Mikey following him while April talked with the locals about possible sightings of the two or the pig Yokai.

"I knew I should have never let them go! I'm such a terrible big brother I bet they've been kidnapped and some stinky stupid creep of a pig probably has their filthy hands on them!" Raph states terror and worry in his heart.

He was such a failure of a brother, a protector. He had to was supposed to protect them and he let them go here all alone.
