Y/n's Pov
It's been a few hours since I've had lunch with Roki.
Quirk training was our next class, which me and Acme were going to miss because of our meeting with Shota Aizawa.
We did stay behind, and the atmosphere was extremely awkward when he began talking.
"Let's make this quick, I need at least 2 hours to recover from these students."
"Now, I called you here to address serious matters. Just a few questions and you'll be off."
We nodded before he continued.
"Y/n, during quirk assessment, you seemed to avoid using your quirk. Why's that?" He asked.
"How'd you know?" I asked him. Everyone I know gets fooled by that.
"I'm not dumb, you and Acme's quirks differ greatly. I know what both your quirks are." I made an O shape with my mouth before answering.
"I couldn't use my quirk because..." I trailed off thinking of an excuse.
"I was just too tired, I hadn't eaten anything before then, so my energy was just too little. I asked Acme to cover for me in hopes of maybe fooling you but sadly you're smarter than that." I lied keeping on a straight face.
"I get the feeling that you're lying to me." He replied.
"Certainly not sir. I'm most definitely not lying."
He shifted his gaze of me and straight on Acme.
"Acme, can I get an explanation on your neck. What happened?"
Acme was not the best at lying to anyone other than my parents. This was really going to be interesting.
"It's part of my quirk, when I overuse it, it tends to hurt me on my neck and sometimes on my back too."
"I know everything about your quirks, this information was sent in for you to apply here. In your case get recommended. Why am I only learning this now?"
"Well..." Acme trailed off. She had no excuse for this one.
"Because she hardly overuses it, only yesterday she went overboard that's why she never brought it up." I defended her.
"Right, how about your arm? Has it healed?"
"Why do you care? It has nothing to do with you." I became protective, scared he might ask something extremely personal.
He took a deep sigh before speaking. " Yesterday, I saw both of you at a park. Late at night during my night shift. It seemed you two were fast asleep. I did contact your parents, and they said you two told them you were at a friend's house. Mind explaining what happened?"
I looked at Acme who also had no clue what to say to that.
Should we lie? Why is my heart racing? It's not like he's going to find anything on us from that.
"Just wanted to sleep near the stars, Y'know?" I lied.
He took another deep sigh.
"Listen, you know you can trust me, right? I won't judge you and I won't hurt you."
"Y-yes," Acme said, as tears were about to escape her eyes.
"Well if that's it can we go now?" I asked, trying to cover up my sister.
He stared skeptically at her and me before dismissing us.
"I-I'm sorry," Acme apologized.
"I-It's just that, I-I realized that we will always have to hide this. it hurts me." I put my arm around her before asking her if we should just go home.
