"Concentrate ~
Concentrate ~
Concentrate ~"Nobita kept chanting inside his head as he closed his eyes, trying to cut off every unnecessary thought from his head and focused on himself flying.
It took time but like he expected, he managed to do. It was almost same as meditating. Few feet before he hitting the bottom, he managed to keep himself afloat in the air.
Judging it was safe to let go, he opened his eyes and landed into a river. Swiming his way to the shore, he panted.
"That was a close one." He huffed.
Walking into the forest from the river bank, he complained in annoyance, "Silf is one hell of an irresponsible fairy. She sucks at being an angel, let alone a guardian angel."
His feet could barely keep his body up and about and his stomach was aching from hunger. Swaying, he walked through the woods, hoping to find someone.
In about half an hour, his wish was finally granted when he discovered someone squealing at a distance.
He started walking towards that sound, curious to see who that was.
Reaching the spot, he found a silhouette with long hair tied up into a top knotted ponytail, throwing punches and kicks in the air, screaming training cries.
Nobita watched for a few minutes but soon tripped on a tree root and ended up being discovered by the girl.
He recovered from the trip pretty quickly. He was about prop himself up from the ground but the girl was standing right above him, holding a knife to his throat.
"Who are you?" She asked, with malice in both her eyes and voice.
"Christina-?!" Nobita snickered out.
The girl, unconvinced, pressed the knife closer to his throat. Leaning closer to him, she repeated, "I asked, who are you?"
She doesn't recognise me...
Nobita put both his hands up and replied innocently, "Whoah, easy there! I'm just a passerby. My name is Nobitanian.""Just a passerby, huh?" She smirked out, "Do you really expect me to believe that given the current situation of this nation?"
Nobita retorted, "Yes. 'Cause it's true."
"Well then, Nobitanian. Mind telling me what you're doing out here in the middle of the woods so late at night?"
"I could ask you the same thing, you know?"
She examined Nobita's witty glare for a while and then let out a disinterested scoff.
"Tch-whatever," folding her arms.Christina withdrew the knife from Nobita's throat and put it back under her belt. She mentioned confidently, "Don't make the mistake of underestimating me, you understand? I'm only letting you go 'cause I know I can put you down anytime I please."
Nobita scanned her physique top to bottom and said, smiling, "Trust me. I can see that you're tough."
She gave him a smug smirk in response.
Nobita's stomach made a growl, making her to turn back and look at him. They shared awkward glances work each other.
"Are you hungry, by any chance?"
Nobita nodded. "Starving, actually. Do you have something to eat?"
She shook her head. "No. Not really. I just come here to train. I don't carry any food with me."
Nobita frowned. That was not what he wanted to hear. "Oh, it's fine."
His stomach made another growl. And even louder one this time. He grabbed his stomach and said, "Um, I should probably go. This is getting embarrassing. Bye."
