The minute the woman in white stretched out her slender arms, Nobita asked, "Why are you doing this? Why now? Why not earlier?"
"Like I said..." She politely replied, "it pains me to keep such close friends apart."
"So, you really want us to believe that after keeping us like this, all of a sudden you have a change of heart?" Christina stepped forward.
"It doesn't matter what you believe. This world is nearing its end and nothing can be done to stop that," the woman mentioned sounding serious for the first time.
Bright golden light accumulated around her fists as she added, "Take a look around you. This is the image of the world on the verge of a terrifying apocalypse."
She closed her eyes and focused all of her power into her hands.
Nobita spoke up unexpectedly after a minute silence.
"But isn't that happening 'cause of you?"
That made her open her eyes. They weren't as relaxed and calm as it had been all this time.
Nobita unflinchingly continued, "If you say you are like the overseer and controller of this dream like an admin in a game, doesn't that make everything happening here now all to your knowledge and volition?"
The woman remained quiet.
Nobita knew he had dug up gold with his speculation there.
"Don't get me wrong but the way you speak of this 'apocalypse' and 'world ending' is almost like you don't have a clue about it... when that is not true at all. Nothing happens here in this world without your will."
She let out a sly smirk. "You might be on to something or you might not. I have no opinion for now on that matter. Neither should it to you."
"I think it should. Considering how it would help us judge whether to trust you or not," Christina said.
"Whether you are the bad guy," Doraemon's voice was sceptical.
She laughed hysterically, "You lot are still children, alright!" She looked back at them, "Trust me, youngsters. You have a lot more to worry about now than whether I'm a bad guy."
She unclenched her fists and said, "Stop thinking about useless things and try your one last hand at saving the city... the kingdom for that matter.
At least...
Try to make it interesting for me."She shot out the light from her palms and everything was covered with blinding light; so intense that they all had to cover their eyes for a second.
When they opened them, she was already gone. They were out of the space time frame and back to the dark ruins of Anderu city again. However, the world was still frozen.
"I don't trust her."
"Neither do I," Doraemon acknowledged.
"Nobita~~"
It was Gian's voice. Nobita turned to him, followed by Christina and Doraemon.
He smiled in relief, "I remember. I can finally remember again." Nobita nodded back at him happily.
Excited, Gian turned to Suneo. "Hey, that lady really gave us our memories back. This is so much better, isn't it?"
