Going to a One Direction meet and greet was not something I want to do...at all. Those boys seemed very tacky. The fact that hundreds of desperate girls followed them to the gym disgusts me. I am not one to blow someone off though, maybe I will just make an appearance, I'll just say hi and leave. But I'm not going alone, hell no, that is not something I can survive alone. Thousands of girls screaming in a secluded area made me cringe just thinking about it, but actually going? I needed someone to stop me from giving them black eyes.

I'll bring my best friend Jay. She is there for me for everything and we know eachother so well, she is not a One Direction fan so it should be a little easier being the only girl there that isn't wetting herself with excitement. I called her up,

"Hey Jay, weird news alert."

"What's up?" she sounded amused.

"One Direction's in town right? Yeah so I ran into them at the gym, weird as eff! I had to like bribe their security guard to let me in just to do my workout! I had to get Kate an autograph because that winy twerp would kill me if I didn't."

"Okay so what's so important? Did one of the crazed Directioners stab you or something?" She began to laugh.

"No, Liam..Payne I think, he hit on me and wants me to go to their M&G tonight, I can't go alone, I will go nuts. But I don't want to go to all! But I really hate blowing people off and I-"

She cut me off, "Listen I'll go, but I am not and I repeat, I am not talking to you with him. When do you want to head out?"

"Well he wants me to be last in line so we can talk longer."

A couple seconds of silence went by, "Okay, I'll be at your house in 10 minutes."

I had chosen to wear a light orange tank top that buttoned in the front, a pair of demin jean shorts and white lace toms. I curled my hair and pulled off a smokey look, getting ready for the day. "Hey hey hey!" Jay walked into my bedroom.

"You know, someone who doesn't want to be there is getting very prettied-up to go!" She laughed, waving my makeup bag in my face.

"You're the same exact way!" I said to her. She was wearing a blue and white flannel jacket, ripped denim shorts and light blue converse. Her blonde hair was straightened and hovered just above her shoulders, her makeup was perfect, her light natural makeup making her blue eyes pop. She was like a model.

"Well who knows? We may pass some cute guys on the way there!" She laughed and after turning off the lights and locking up we decided to leave. We stopped and ate at a small diner, desperately trying to burn time. It would take a while for the thousands of girls to pass through the line, shake hands, get signatures, hold small talk, take pictures and then leave. It was already 7:00 p.m now, the diner was right across from the center where it was being held. The long line of girls was coming to an end, but just to be sure we waited longer. After eating a full meal for what seemed like hours, we could see the end of the line flowing out of the door a couple of yards.

We split the bill and paid, then strode out the diner, "Jeez you would think these girls had a little bit of dignity! They have been out here probably since early this morning!" She said, her eyes amused on the girls.

"Yeah I know, I can hear and see them jumping and screaming around from the apartment window." I said in a flat tone.

*

After being in line for probably 45 minutes and allowing some last minute girls to get in front of us, we were in the building and could see the 5 boys sitting at a table. The flashing of lights struck their faces from cameras and screaming filled the room, I would definitely have a headache by the time I got out of here.

Soon we reached the table. Jay rolled her eyes as Louis ran his fingers through his hair and Harry took a drink of his water bottle, "So full of themselves, I can't stand it." she whispered in my ear. I laughed and playfully punched her arm. Liam was the first boy at the table, then Harry, Louis, Niall and Zayn. Great. The torture begins here.

"Hey! Umm.." Liam said, trying to remember my name.

"Faith." I snapped, faking a smile.

"Jay." Jay said, then laughed at her own humor.

"I suppose you got my note?" He said in a calm but excited voice.

"Yeah, why else would I come here? I mean really I think I am getting a headache from the herd of screeching teenagers." I said, Liam laughed at this and nodded in agreement.

Jay filed through the line, getting autographs from the other boys and having small talk. She didn't seem interested in what they had to say, but there was something she was up to. The other boys waved at me but I kept my eyes focused on Liam.

"Can you just tell me what is going on with the whole note thing so I can go home?" I said quietly to him. He stood up and grabbed my arm, pulling me aside.

"You just seem very..interesting. You are so beautiful and I really want to get to know you better. This sounds so lame I should stop." Liam said, his hand scratched the back of his neck. I agreed, he should but I couldn't say that to him.

"Umm yeah. Well sorry but I-"

"Listen I know you're not a huge fan of the band, or not a fan at all-" he started.

"Yeah no not a fan."

"But maybe we can hang out, you can see the real me, not the boy band Liam." he said, his gaze locked into mine. His brown eyes attempted to slice into mine, trying to make my heart flutter, it didn't. I'm sure all of the other girls melted when he did this.

When I said nothing, he leaned in, slowly and cautiously, he laced her hands around my waist and leaned in close. My feet fumbled backwards, but Liam just squeezed tighter, not allowing me to break free. "What are you doing?" my voice was racing. He ran his fingers through my hair, sliding it off my shoulder, leaving my shoulder almost bare. He bent his head down, pressing a kiss on my shoulder sending chills down my spine. His hand trailed down my back, stopping at my butt. He pulled my phone out of my back pocket, pulling his lips off my shoulder, he tapped his fingers across my iPhone, very concentrated. He then pressed his lips to my neck and slid the phone back down into my back pocket. I never imagined Liam as someone to do something that seductive and sneaky. Kate had always told me about his nickname, "Daddy Directioner" because he was the more mature boy of the group. I couldn't see it.

He drew away from me, sliding his fingers around my body, then back at my sides. He flashed a wink at me.

"I'll call you." Liam said, his voice made me wonder if this other side to him was actually...hott. The security guard taped on his shoulder and the other boys had already been in a group, waving for Liam to join them. He kept his eyes locked on mine, then turned around joining the boys. Jay leaned up against the wall tapping her wrist, gesturing an invisible clock, she wanted to leave. We were escorted through a hallway and soon left the building.

My heart was racing, what had just happened? Once we got back to the apartment I sat on my couch. My fingers traced over the area where his lips touch, the skin was soft and warm.

"So you and Liam were a little touchy feely huh? Thought you said you had no interest in them? Or him? By the way I got Kate some autographs while you were 'busy'." She air quoted around the word busy then laughed, opening my fridge and pulling out a can of Pepsi.

"Yeah. I-I don't have interest in them..or him." I tried to focus on something, the TV, the carpet anything to get my mind off of Liam. I was beyond confused. My attention snapped back to me when my phone buzzed. It was Liam, he put his contact in my phone and got my number.

From: Liam

"Hey love."
