Bright lights fluttered around the walls, flashing from blue to green to red. It smelled musty, like an old basement. A pool table in the corner of the room, men surrounding it pulling beer bottles to their lips and tossing dollar bills at eachother obviously betting on games. I then scanned my eyes to the bar area where a few people my age sat conversing with one another. The bartender juggled bottles in his hands before filling a glass with the liquids and sliding it down the counter to a woman. Then the dance floor. Couples grinding on eachother, making out and a few groups of friends danced together clapping and laughing. Liam squeezed my waist and led me to the bar. I rolled my eyes, he was not going to get me drunk like any other girl.

"Can I get you a drink?" he said pulling himself onto a bar stool and tapping his hand on the one next to him. I took the gesture and sat on the bar stool.

"A Pepsi is fine." I said to him. Liam laughed giving me a 'really no alcohol?' look. He then shrugged and turned to the bartender.

"We will take one Pepsi and a beer." He said, letting out a soft chuckle. The bartender nodded and turned to get our drinks.

"You don't want any alcohol? It's on me so I don't mind!" He said nudging me with him elbow flirtatiously. I shook him off, "No I'm fine, I don't want to get wasted tonight."

The bartender slid our drinks to us and Liam payed. I took short sips of my Pepsi and set it back onto the counter just as Liam took large gulps of his beer. I had two more Pepsis, and Liam had another beer which was gone in a matter of minutes. He let out a loud laugh and grabbed my hand, yanking me behind him. He dragged me onto the dance floor where people moved to make room for us.

Hot, bouncing bodies surrounded us. He laughed taking my hands and swinging me around him. Drunk Liam was a lot more fun and easier to be around then sober Liam. I giggled as he spun around, grinding hips against my backside. We swung our hips to the beat of the music. The lights formed specks that spun around the room. It felt like we were the only ones on the dancefloor.

The bass pounded through the dance floor, shaking my legs and occasionally catching me off balance. I guess it caught someone else off balance because before I knew it, a body stumbled backwards onto me. I lunged forward. Liam caught my shoulders and the woman that fell on me apologize. I forgave her and Liam laughed, "Adorable!" he called out to me. I blushed at my clumsiness. Liam processed my embarrassment pretty well because he began dancing so silly I couldn't help but laughing out loud. Completely off beat to the music he clapped and spun me around under his arm. He held my hips and I reached up and draped my arms onto his shoulders, wrapping around the back of his neck.

He planted small kisses up my arm and met at my collar bone. His eyes locked into mine. His warm brown eyes cut into mine, sending hot, electric waves through my spine. I couldn't control myself, I tried looking away, anything to take my attention off his warm eyes. But my eyes stayed locked into his. At that moment I pulled his head down towards mine, resting my forehead on his. His lips met mine, a warm, passionate kiss. I tried pulling away but my body kept me up against his. He pulled away, looking at me confused. He shrugged and pressed his lips back up against mine. I felt his lips curl up into a smile under mine as he pulled me closer to his body.

On our way out of the club, Liam just about tripped over himself, he was definitely drunk. I looped his arm over my shoulder and we started out the door. I completely forgot about the fans that still managed to be sitting outside of the club.

"My fffffffans!" He shouted, squirming out the door.

I quickly yanked him back into the club. I couldn't let his fans see him like this. I wasn't a fan of their band, or their fans, but I couldn't let his fans see him wasted, his life would be over. I grabbed his hand and pulled him deeper into the club. In the pool table area a man with a baseball cap tilted over his eyes lay sleeping in the corner on a sturdy wooden chair. I dragged Liam with me to the man. I carefully pulled the hat off his head, he only squirmed a little, mumbling something under his breath, then let out a sigh and drifted back into sleep. I shook the hat off and put it on Liam's head.

I felt bad for doing what I did but it had to be done. I snagged a large puffy black jacket off of the coat hangers, leading Liam's arms through the sleeves and pulling it over his shoulders. I zipped up the front and he was perfect! I didn't think many fans would recognize me but I had to do it just to be sure. I pulled my long waves up into a high pony tail and put the hood of my jacket up. On the way out the door I stopped. I reached my hand into Liam's pocket, "Hey hey hey! Getting touchy are we now, love?" he winked at me grabbing my wrist.

"Don't get your hopes up, I'm just getting your keys and your phone." I said, reaching further down into it before pulling out his keys and his black iPhone. I looped my arm with his and started out the door. Making eye contact with the security guard, I tilted my head at Liam, showing the guard his drunken state. The guard nodded, cleared his throat and opened the velvet rope for us to exit. "See you later Mr. and Mrs. Givins! Have a nice night, drive safe." he said to us. He must have to cover up for a lot of celebrities because he did it so natural and convincing. Many fans craned their necks at the door but then lost interest after seeing that it wasn't Liam and Faith.

We made it out the door and down the sidewalk. Liam's feet shuffled, scuffing along the side walk. He tilted his head back and laughed. I quickly slapped my hand over his mouth, muffling his loud, recognizable laugh. We continued walking until we met up with the car. I opened the passenger door and he got up in it. I then ran over into the drivers side.

"Why are you driving my car?" he asked.

"Is that a serious question? You're in no condition to drive Liam." I laughed, "Now buckle in your seatbelt." he listened to me and buckled it.

I put the key in the ignition and started up the hummer. At that moment I realized that I had no idea where Liam lived, he would have to stay with me. We drove for miles and the environment around me started getting more familiar.

"This night was great! Just great! I couldn't even believe how great it really was. Super great!" Liam said, his voice trailing off as he watched out the windows.

I laughed at how adorable he was when he was drunk. We pulled up to the apartment. I helped him up the flights of stairs and unlocked my door. He walked into my apartment, I flicked the lights on and grabbed his arm and led him to my bedroom.

"Go lay down, I'll bring you some water." I told him, "And if you puke in my bed I will punch you!" I said jokingly.

"Don't worry I know where the bathroom is!" he said laughing. I watched as he belly flopped onto my bed. Then made himself comfortable. I turned the faucet on and filled up a glass with ice cold water. I carried it into my bedroom where Liam lay staring at my ceiling, humming a soft melody to himself.

"Faith come lay with me." He said, scooching over and pulling the blankets up onto his body, then folding a corner over and patting the empty spot beside him.

"After you drink this water." I said handing him the glass.

"Challenge accepted!" He said.

I walked to my closet and grabbed a pair of athletic shorts and an over sized t shirt. Liam was focusing on finishing his water so I unchanged in my room assuming that he wouldn't notice. I slid my dress over my head and quickly slipped the shorts up my legs. I slipped my shirt over my head and unhooked my bra underneath it. I turned around to see that Liam had slipped his jeans off and his shirt and was now just in his boxers. He was passed out, his arm sprawled across the pillow and the other was splayed across his stomach.

He looked so perfect even sleeping. I crawled into the bed in the spot beside him, pulling the fluffy white comforter over us. His eyes stayed closed but his arm slithered underneath my body and pulled me close to him. I layed my head on his chest and put my arm across his warm, muscular stomach. At that very moment he mumbled something under his breath and smiled, then I dozed off in his warm embrace.
