CHAPTER 10

THIRD P.O.V

As the people were scampering around the Great hall and the surrounding hallways trying to catch a glimpse and avoid the gaze of the newly proclaimed Dark Lady and the old acquainted Dark Lord. It was touch and go for a little while, but eventually Eliza, Tom, and her court managed to drive away all the stray wanderers.

Once they managed to drive away all of the others interested in the sight of them, a serious discussion started to rear its head. It was an ugly plot twist, one that they would have to deal with at some point and Eliza was ready to get this conversation done and over with.

"What would happen if we wipe all of their minds when we leave? Would all of this be pointless and would it just make Mother Magic fade faster? Or-" Eliza's rambling could have went on for hours, but Tom managed to cut her off and Blaise picked up where she left off,

"What if because they're seeing this then none of us are born? Well obviously we would be, but what about Eliza? Or what are we going to do about Dumbledore?" Daphne and Theo, growing tired of their endless, continuous connected ranting, both decided that it was time to call quits on the rambling.

"QUIET!" Despite the looks that they were receiving from the hall, Daphne and Theo weren't sorry for cutting the two off.

"Let's think about this logically, If we make them forget everything, then Mother Magic will eventually fade and that's bad for everyone. So, what we do eventually, is make them forget our identities, but not what they've learned." Blaise and Eliza both looked at Theo like he had two heads, then turned towards each other, and back to Theo.

    "Oh," Blaise whispered,

"That makes a lot more sense," Eliza let out before fixing her own expression.

~~

The Order were all discussing what to do about the newest problem on their board to remove anything with dark influences. A daughter of two of their own, turned into this monster that is going to destroy them. Lily and James were conflicted. How on Earth did their daughter, with a rowdy bully of a father and a petty spiteful mother, not that they thought of themselves that way, turn into this ugly tainted monster of nightmares?

The answer in itself was quite simple, a prime case of nurture over nature. Everything inside that poor girl was ingrained inside her mind since the moment her parents had died and she was left at the Dursleys. There was no question about it, however the Order didn't want to see it that way and simply chose to believe that it was dark magic corrupting her from outside and within.

~~

Eliza and her court were already tired of the frightful stares, the awe filled stares, and the disgust filled ones too. However there didn't seem to be anything they could do to escape them until Eliza remembered the effective powers of parseltongue. She could also just ask the youngest Black brother for the password and she was honestly debating doing that ahead of her own abilities.

"I remember now! We can go hide in the common room until tomorrow morning when the reading picks up again." Blaise just turned and stared at her as if she were slow.

"Thank you for the genius plan Eliza, but how exactly are we supposed to get into the common room we don't have the password for?"
It was Eliza and everyone else in the know's turn to stare. After the whole second year fiasco, how did he forget the power of snake charming, not to mention Tom, the Dark Lord, Slytherin's heir?

"Oh right, I figured you may try to get baby Black to open up about the password seeing as you and Tom were staring at him like parents." Eliza almost blushed in embarrassment, but then regained her composure.

"Well, I reckon he's better company than you right now!" and with that, dragging Tom by his arm behind her, Eliza approached Regulus Black.

~~

Regulus Black was on the verge of a freak out. If these books well and truly did show the future, which he expected they did by now, he was completely and utterly screwed. He had gone against the insane Dark Lord and now the younger and saner looking one was going to make him pay when he found out about the betrayal. And if his sense of sight was to be accounted for it seems like that time is right now as he and the Dark Lady marched towards the paling form of Baby Black.

When they reached him Regulus thought that his brain may have died from a lack of blood flowing towards his head from his paling face. But they, miraculously, didn't look mad at all and even looked sort of comforting.

"Hello Baby Black, lovely to finally meet you, I heard all about you from Sirius," And didn't that just make his brain freeze worse, Sirius, his older brother who betrayed and left him alone, talked about his death eater, dark magic using brother. He managed to form the words

"Hullo, pleasure to meet you," after a few minutes of gaping.

"Oh don't be nervous, what you did helped Tom, and for that we are grateful. Add to the fact that your parents are horrible and well you poor dear,"
And didn't that seem strange. Everyone saw the Black family as infallible except those that were failed by it, the fact that someone, two someones who happen to be the Dark Lord and Lady, knew and recognized it made his universe.

"Now would you mind taking us to the common room and opening the portrait, parseltongue works but, why not familiarise ourselves with the lovely people of this time period, no?" His lips almost twitched into a smile.

"Alright, I'm sure you know the way but for the whole tour guide persona. Follow me please and gather all remaining participants."
Eliza merely pushed Regulus towards her court, Blaise, Daphne, Draco, and Theo he recognized, grabbing Blaise's arm who attached to Theo, who attached to Daphne, who in turn attached to Draco. The Dark Lord was following behind the whole group while Eliza grabbed Regulus's arm. He thought that it was strange for the past Slytherin Court, not to mention the Dark Lady, to be this affectionate in public but he guessed that they cooked up some scheme and that this was the result that was barred.

As they passed through the halls Regulus took great pleasure in sarcastically pointing out all the different portraits and statues he was scared that the sarcasm would lead to him getting crucioed, but if anything Eliza seemed amused, and the Dark Lord looked like he was about to get a headache from whatever he was hearing from her. When they reached the Slytherin portrait Regulus was a bit sad because it meant that the real interest being paid attention to what he was saying would be over.

"Vincula Rumpe" was whispered with sad undertones.

"Okay, everyone currently on the tour, including Baby Black, I'm going to lead us all to the next destination"
Dragging Blaise and the caravan that followed him with one arm and Regulus with the other, Eliza marched towards the Slytherin Heir room. Nobody had occupied this room since the Dark Lord had went to Hogwarts so it was intimidating to Regulus to see them march towards it with such familiarity. Opening the door and shoving everyone into the room including the Dark Lord was a bold move and when Blaise decided that yelling,

"SLEEPOVER" would break the tension, well it did just that.

    Hello my loves,

I'm so sorry that it has been months, but I had lost the drive to write for a while it just wouldn't come. I appreciate all those that have stuck around for the hiatus of sorts and appreciate all the love shown to the story in my absence.
