Chapter 2: Dave

Dave is getting hyped before his track meet he is commonly known as the best hurdler on this side of the Mississippi Riva. Dave was running two hurdling events that day. Dave is medium height with short brown hair he usually wears sweatpants and a wife beater. Dave lined up for the 110 meter hurdles. The gun sounds and Dave sprints forward beating all of the other hurdlers screaming."I am the best hurdler on this side of the Mississippi Riva." Dave walks over to the bleachers where his friend Ben is sitting. "Nice hurdling Dave." "I know Ben how did you event go." "I came in second." "Ha loser come on u can do better." "I'm sorry Dave I can't be the best on this side of the Mississippi like you." After about another ten minutes it was time for his second event Dave lined up and as soon as the gun sounded a giant beast with multiple tails that were long and spikes eight tails to be exact. The beast attacked everyone at the meet the beast hit Ben with one of its tails sending him flying but was caught in a bubble of light. Dave caught Ben confused then looked at the monster and said. "This is gonna be fun." Dave starts to fire beams of light energy at the monster the brings out a axe made of pure light. Dave charges at the beast as it swings its tail Dave cuts it off and then jumps at the monsters head but is flung away by its giant arm. Dave stands up pulls his arms back thrusts them forward and shoots two giant light beams that pierces the chest of the monster it falls to the ground and turns to vapor. Dave sprints to the forest and parkours up a tree and sits there confused and says to himself. "Whats going on why can I do that I don't really care but it's cool." Just then a spirit appears in front of Dave telling him who he is and about his father and brother Ken and how Ken is searching for you and will be here in two days. Dave decides to run home and not tell anyone about what happened. The next day at school his friends were cheering for him and praising his abilities especially Ben who's life he had just saved. Ken and Mia were driving and the spirit had told him where to find Dave and all about his encounter with the beast and Ken gets excited. Dave is in his art seat dying to get out of school and try out his new powers. He strayed home from school the next day honing his skills and waiting for Ken to show up. Dave almost tore down a whole forest with his light axe and his powers preparing for a fight almost afraid of his brother's abilities. The black mustang pulled in to the driveway of Dave's house Mia and Ken stepped out Dave walked in to the driveway light axe in hand and stared down Ken. " Hi I'm Ke..." "I know who you are and Dave charged at Ken swinging and missing saying. "Lets fight."
