Chapter 9:Preparation for The Second Great God War

"Ok dad how do we need to prepare."said Ken "I need to get you suited with armor and give you a sword. Dave your gonna need armor as well." "Why do I need a sword I have my shadow blade that's been enough so far." "Some demons like smoke guardians can't be touched by anything but a holy sword and smoke demons are all of my brothers elite guards." "What about Mia dad she needs equipment too." "Don't worry she also gets a holy sword and armor to defend herself but most of her magic will be effective against the demons." "I don't know how to use a sword Yandrax and I barely know any magic." "You will soar with Ken using a sword and get used to using your armor." "Ok but why don't I get a sword like these two why does Ken's scrubby girlfriend get a holy sword but I don't I'm the other half god here she's a human." "I dare you to talk to her like that Mr.Losing streak how about you win a fight against me then maybe you can talk to her like that." Ken's eyes turned red and the red and black marks appeared on his arms and face. "Calm down bro I don't wanna hurt you and your scrub." Dave threw a punch at Ken. He ducked the punch and kicked Dave in the ribs then shot him with a red and black shadow blast at Dave hitting him and knocking him to the floor. Ken jumped on Dave and started beating on him. When Ken was satisfied with his work he picked Dave up by his shirt let out a demonic laugh. A red and black aura glowed around him as he threw a battered Dave into the wall. The red and black aura disappeared along with the marks and Ken was normal again. Yandrax looked at him shocked at how much his fight with Zanos changed him. Ken was submitting more into his dark power because of the new demon energy he absorbed. Ken was turning into what Yandrax feared the most a demon shadow warrior know as a shadow reaper. "Kenny did you kill him." "No just knocked him out he shouldn't have called you that. That was his mistake of he wants to treat you like garbage then this is what will happen." "Kenny are you ok. Your acting weird." Ken turned to Mia and smiled. "I'm fine M don't worry he just made me angry." "Come on let's get you two geared up and start your sword training while the medics treat Dave." "Ok father lets go come on Mia I'll go easy on you." "You won't have to Kenny." The three of them walked to the armory. Yandrax handed them each a wristband with a button in the center. "Imagine what you want your armor to look like then press the button." Ken imagined his armor then pressed the button on the wristband. The armor created itself around Ken his armor was a long black jacket with a  hood. It had a thin titanium chest piece and leg armor on his hands were gauntlets that amplified his shadow powers. Mia did the same and hers came out as a pink gold suit of armor with a chest piece that boosted her magic abilities. Yandrax handed both of them a sword Ken's was named Yang after the Yang spirit and Mia's was named Kisangani. "Let's begin the blade training." The three walked back to the training room where Dave was still unconscious. Yandrax taught each of them how to use the blades power to boost their own and shoot a sword beam from them. "Are you two ready to spar." "Yes we are." Yandrax signaled to begin and Mia rushed Ken swinging her sword at him. Ken quickly stepped back and blocked the sword attacks. Mia jabbed at Ken he disarmed her and took her sword defeating Mia. "I am going to be as good as you one day Kenny." "One day maybe you will be keep training." "Ken Zanos has a daughter and she is really your little sister please you must return her here." " What why are you only telling me this now tell me more what's her power how old is she and why isn't she here." "She's eight and she has shadow powers stronger than your but she can't control them as well Zanos took her about two days before you three arrived this fight is just as much about taking out Zanos as retrieving her." " What's her name dad." " Her name is Callie." "What does she look like." " She is short has burgundy hair and will probably be wearing a dark red cloak with a bright red t shirt." "Ok don't worry dad I'll get her back even if I die trying. Mia are you ready." "Yeah Kenny." " Dave how bout you." " Sure." "Ok let's move."
