We all know how Jay cares for the members of Enhypen, right? He's always so gentle and kind with them, especially Lily. Of course, he likes Jungwon more than anything but Lily just hits different. Her existence alone is enough to make him drown in adoration for the girl.
He doesn't really show his caring side to Lily often since he didn't want to spoil the girl but to anyone seeing, it's obvious that he cares for her a lot.

It was their day off when Jay decided to take Lily out for groceries shopping. Believe it or not, the two enjoys groceries shopping together since they could finally spend some time alone without Lily being taken away from Jay by Heeseung or any of the maknaes.
But going to grocery with Lily means that they're going to be in the store for longer than they should. She just tends to get really distracted when seeing something intriguing. The second Jay is busy with something else, Lily is gone from his side. At first, he was worried but the longer he knows her, it became a little game for him.
So, whenever they went to the store to get the groceries, Jay will stuck a cute helium balloon to Lily's shirt so that if they ever got separated, he can still find her by the balloon. Just like right now. Jay went to the meat section to get some fresh produce, thinking that Lily was following him but when he turned around, she's nowhere to be seen.
Jay smiled excitedly and bought what he had to buy before leaving the section. That's when he sees a pink balloon at the chocolate aisle. "Got you." He said to himself and headed to the aisle. Upon arriving, he sees Lily staring at the selection of chocolates in front of her. "Do you want anything, Peach?"
Lily turned to Jay with doe eyes as she shook her head. "If you don't want anything, let's leave. I'm done." She pouted without realizing. Even when she linked her hand with Jay and hugged his arm, her eyes are still stuck on the chocolates. Jay chuckled, "choose what you want. I'll pay."
Her eyes widened, "no~ I don't need anything. Let's just go." She said that but her eyes are literally glued to the chocolates. Without thinking much, Jay reached for the chocolates that she's been eyeing and putting it in the cart. "Now, let's go, peach."
"You're the best, oppa~ I love you~"
"More than you love Heeseung hyung?"
She leaned in to his ear, "don't tell him but I love you more than him."
That's enough to get him through another long and draining month. Wait until he brag and boast to the members about it. He turned to the smiling girl and chuckled, "aigoo. I love you too, peach."

"And so a girl spread rumors at school, saying that I was a two faced bitch who is trying to steal her boyfriend away from her. Like, can you believe it?" She huffed madly, the pigtails that Jay had put her hair into bouncing angrily as she moves around to show her anger. "It got so bad that Dispatch was trying to start a scandal of me. I'm 18 for god sake. What would I do with people's boyfriend when I have you guys?"
Jay was a little shocked when she said that but he nodded his head nonetheless. "She really hurt my feelings so when she apologized today, I just walked away. I hate her, oppa. I really don't want to go to school because I'm going to see her." She sighed and laid stomach down on the bed, right next to Jay.
The girl has been refusing to go to school for days but that was all talk because she did go to school in the morning. Jay's hand shot up to delicately caress Lily's hair. She always loves it when people play with her hair. It made her so comfortable and safe. "Do you really hate her, peach?"
She shook her head no, making Jay hummed. "See? You are just too mad at her. It will be okay. You know it will. Everything will works out at the end. You just got to trust the process, peach." She hummed tiredly. It hasn't even been an hour since she got back from school. The second she got home from school, she went to take a shower and went to look for Jay almost immediately.
Lily was bugging him to tie her hair up and that's how she begins to tell about everything that had been bothering her at school. And now, she's being very silent, which made Jay frown. "Peach? Are you sleeping?"
No answer.
It's clear what the answer to that question is. The problem is, it's 3 in the afternoon and Jay have a few chores waiting for him so he was about to push Lily off without waking her up. But the second he tried, she wrapped her arms around his waist, locking him down.
Her breath hits his neck due to how close she is to him and it's tickling him. However, when he looked down, he just can't push her away. Her cheeks are supple and round, the color rosy red, making her look so cute. He wished that he could take a picture of her but he's stuck so he just use his eyes to remember it.
At the end, he gave up even trying to escape and closed his eyes. "You're lucky I love you, peach."
