"Alex? Are you alright?" Wanda Maximoff held onto Alexandra White's hand as they strolled through the streets of Edinburgh. Vision looked over at the white-haired woman, eyes flashing with concern.

After everything that had gone down while Alex was spending her time in jail, they had never found the extent of what they had done to her. Alex would get little sharp pains here and there, something she didn't know much about.

But, after her time working with Bruce and Tony, as well as realizing Vision got the same sort of things, she thought it might be HYDRA. Her powers had been based on one of the six Infinity Stones, the most powerful things to ever exist. Vision had an Infinity Stone in his head that was doing the exact same thing.

Ever since the pregnancy, the moments of pain had only gotten worse. Sharper, even making it painful to breathe. "I'm- I'm not sure. Give me a moment."

Alex rested her back against a brick wall, placing a hand against her head and taking in a sharp breath. Wanda rested her hand on the side of Alex's head, relieving some of the pain.

Alex looked up at Wanda, grey eyes meeting brown. "Tell me what you feel."

A small wisp of red buzzed off of Wanda's hand, almost like electricity. Only noticeable to the three of them and not to anyone surrounding them. "I just feel you."

Alex gently kissed Wanda's hand, lowering it down from her face. Wanda smiled, stepping back and facing Vision, hoping he didn't feel like a third wheel. "There's this little shop downtown we can show you. I think it's very-"

Wanda was cut off by Alex's hand pressing onto the side of her arm. She turned around, coming face to face with a tv screen. New York.

"What- what are they?" Wanda asked fearfully, watching the screen through the window. They were almost like aliens, but they resembled humans in odd ways.

"What my powers were warning me about," Alex whispered softly, touching her head briefly. She knew she hadn't been crazy thinking that there was more going on than meets the eye.

A picture flashed on the screen. Tony Stark, missing after having been abducted in an alien aircraft. Alex could feel sweat glisten on her forehead as her brain started to overthink, thinking of every worst possibility.

Vision kissed each of the girls on their hands, making sure Wanda's engagement ring was secure on her hand. "I have to go. I'm sorry if I miss the wedding."

"No, Vision. Vision, if that's true, then maybe going isn't the best idea." Wanda tried to coax Vision out of it, but he wasn't having it. Just as Vision was going to respond, someone behind him stabbed him, a large dagger piercing through his body.

"Vision!" Alex screamed, covering her mouth as she gasped. She was pushed behind Wanda almost instantly, stopping her from trying to fight whoever had just hurt her friend.

Wanda turned to fight but was shot from the side. She flew to the ground, rolling to prevent herself from getting a more serious injury. Alex held her hands out to use her fire, but it flickered on and off.

"Come on!" Alex yelled out loud, watching her hands flicker on and off. It was useless. She sent a punch to the alien who had hurt Wanda but was roughly kicked away.

Wanda got back off the ground. She flew through the air, holding the person who had been trying to extract the stone from Vision's head.

Wanda helped Vision off the ground, helping him down into the alleyway where Alex had been thrown. Alex was getting to her feet slowly, holding her stomach tightly in hopes the baby hadn't been hurt.

"Are you alright?" Wanda asked neither of them in particular. Alex nodded, not wanting to worry her fiancé while Vision grimaced.

"The blade... it stopped me from fazing."

"Is that even possible?"

"It isn't supposed to be." Alex knew enough from Tony and Bruce about how robots worked. There shouldn't have been an exception when it came to Vision.

Wanda touched the cut on Vision's stomach, seeing if there was any way she could heal it. "My systems are failing. I'm beginning to think we should have stayed in the apartment."

Wanda was pushed off of Vision without another word as one of the aliens tried to attack him. Wanda called after him, trying to find where he had gone.

"Alex, you should stay here. You shouldn't fight." Alex wanted to protest with Wanda, but she knew she was right. They didn't want to risk anything happening to the baby.

Even if she wasn't willing to get in the middle of a fight, Alex knew she should do something. She ran through the back of the alleyway, taking a quick route toward the train station. They needed to find a quick way out of Edinburgh.

Alex blocked her face with her hands as she felt pieces of glass bounce off her face. The ceiling shattered and Wanda and Vision fell through, landing a few feet from her.

"Please. Please leave." Vision said, holding Wanda's head in his hands. He examined the cut that went from her hair to her eyebrow.

"You asked to stay. You said that it could be the three of us and nothing more. I'm staying." Wanda had made up her mind. This was their newfound home, and Vision was their friend, so as long as he needed their help they would stay.

More panels in the glass ceiling burst as the two aliens fell through. They were absolutely unhappy to see Wanda as she stood up away from the two, drawing her hands out.

But, they were preoccupied for a moment. A train whistled by, screeching past to reveal none other than Steve Rogers himself. The three of them hadn't seen him in years, checking in but keeping little to no contact because it was safer that way.

Alex watched Sam Wilson fly through the air, sending missiles toward the aliens. Natasha Romanoff attacked them with a baton, using her hand-to-hand combat experience to her advantage.

Alex felt a sense of pride flow through her. Her best friends were there. She knew it certainly wasn't the best moment, but she couldn't help but laugh.

The Avengers were finally back together.
