Sophie's POV
"Alec! Get your butt down here or we will be late!" I shouted loudly.
"One minute!" Came from somewhere upstairs.
"Seb, darling, could you please go fetch him? How are you so calm? Didn't you say the train is always on time?" I looked at my husband nervously.
"Calm down, sweetheart. We still have plenty of time," he smiled at me lovingly but when he saw my trembling hands he got up with a deep sigh and started walking towards the stairs.
I quickly grabbed the letter from Hogwarts and went through the list of requirements for a hundredth time, checking if we didn't forget something.
I couldn't believe Alec is already eleven. It felt like yesterday when I found out that I am pregnant. Sebastian was beyond thrilled of course, even though we hadn't even been together for a year. He asked me to marry him the day after. I agreed, how could I not. He even asked my brother Alexander for his blessing. Of course he wasn't opposed, he was the one who brought us together after all.
I put down the letter and turned around when I heard two pairs of steps. "Finally."
"You are acting like it is your first year mom, not mine," Alec grinned at me.
"What did you do with your hair?" I looked at him with wide eyes. His hair, which was usually crazy and wild like Sebastian's, was now slicked back in neat style. He inherited the texture after Sebastian but the colour after me. "You look like Uncle Ominis."
"Do I, really?" He perked up happily, looking proud. Comparing him to Ominis was like the biggest compliment for him, because he was his favorite person in the whole world. Alec looked up to him, thinking that he is, in his words, 'cooler than Merlin'.
"You do, he will be thrilled when he'll see you," Sebastian chuckled at his own joke.
"Rude," Alec frowned and nudged Sebastian with his elbow, stomping out of the room angrily. If Ominis could count on someone to always defend him it was our son.
"He is like his mother," Seb was rubbing his side, where Alec's elbow hit him.
"You deserved it," I laughed. "You'll take the trunk and I'll take Annabel?"
"Oh I can handle both, she is getting heavier and you shouldn't carry heavy things right now," he caressed my growing belly with affection.
"I don't think that our daughter is counting as a heavy thing, Seb," I giggled softly and pressed a quick kiss on his soft lips. He instantly grunted in disagreement when I pulled away. "Come on, hubby, we have a train to catch."
"Really?" I looked at Sebastian incredulously.
"Yup?" He nodded with a smirk.
"Through the wall? I asked again.
"Yup."
"This...this solid, brick wall?"
"Love, you believed me when I told you that dragons and unicorns are real. You believed me when I told you I can heal a broken bone with one flick of my wand. You even believed me when I told you there is a potion that can temporarily transfer you into someone else. But you refuse to believe that you can walk through this wall?" He laughed silently.
"Fine," I scoffed and pressed Annabel closer to my body. Sebastian was right, she was getting heavier and my arms were already killing me but I refused to admit it aloud. At least not yet. She literally grew before our eyes and I was sure she definitely inherited her height from Sebastian. She was his spitting image. Beautiful brown hair and cute freckled face. I would doubt that she was my daughter if her eyes weren't the same shade of blue as mine.
