" Assalamualaikum wifey... So long since I last saw you"
" walaikum assalam... That's exaggeration... Come on ... It hasn't been that long" says Hayat collecting the last few plates
"Let me atleast see you properly" saying that he takes the plates from her hand and keeps them aside
He fixes her hijab saying Maa shaa Allah while caressing her face
Hayat closes her eyes for a moment
"Dress like this more often... You look beautiful" he says looking at her directly
He takes her hand in his and they move towards a more quiet place away from their friends .
Hayat takes two cups of gahwa along with her and they sit near to the fire.
The weather is chilly and nice... The starts shining brightly in the night sky... Even the moon is full and beautiful.
"Isn't the moon lovely tonight?? " Asks Hayat changing the topic since her cheeks were all red...
Rayan gets closer to her and whispers
" not more than mine"
Hayat hugs him hiding her face in his chest while he embraces her warmly laughing at her getting all shy
He rests his chin on her head and they stay in the embrace for a while.
" Hayat... I have something to tell you"
"Hmm..... says Hayat
" I might have to leave..." He says
" leave?? Yeah we all will be leaving tomorrow "
" N....No..
Not that Hayat... I have to leave for Europe tomorrow " says Rayan
Hayat become quiet for a while and then asks
" For how long??"
"Huh?"
"For how long will you be there?"
" Maybe 2 weeks... I'm not really sure."
Says Rayan
"That won't be a problem... As long as you are back before Mahnoor and Aman's nikah"
" I'll try to be back soon... In shaa Allah " he says

Mahnoor goes to the kitchen to get some water
" Assalamualaikum Noor... What brings you here"
She searches for the voice that called her only to find Aman standing close to the fridge
" walaikum assalam.... Water?" she says... Almost like a question
He hands her the bottle of water and goes to sit on the counter
Both of them get quiet for a while and the air in the room screams awkwardness
" Did u make the Russian salad?" He asks casually
" uh... Yes" she says
" It was good...
Could be better " he says giving mischievous smile
" Wasn't really for you" she replies annoyingly and takes a sip of water
"Jokes aside...
I need to ask you something important " says Aman
"Yes.. what is it "
" You are getting married according to your will ..?? Nobody is forcing you... right?" he asks getting all serious
" Ofcourse not.." she replies
" Thank God" he says silently
"Huh?"
"I was saying... Who dares to force you into something... Haha ofc you aren't doing nothing against your will " he says laughing
" damn right" she says giving a victorious smile
" I.... Uh...
I am leaving for Europe tomorrow morning...
So.... uh .... Take care I guess ..Yeah.. just wanted to say that ... bye" saying that he leaves abruptly with a confused Mahnoor left behind.
"Weirdo " she thinks to herself and gulps down the rest of the water.
The next morning...
Rayan ,Aman, Arsalan all wake up early and leave for airport.
Rayan goes to look for hayat for the last time only to find her waiting for him near the stairs.
" leaving?" She asks
"Yeah..." He says and goes for the hug
They stay like that for a good minute before Rayan breaks the hug...
Hayat takes his face in both of her hands... And gives a kiss on his cheek...
" take care of yourself " she says
He smiles at her and says
"You too... Allah hafiz " and he leaves.
