Rayan's pov:
I was really nervous on the day of my nikah.
But when I saw her, all the nervousness , anxiety ... I felt all of it leaving my body
Maybe that's how the soulmate bond is .. maybe that's what it feels like to have a wife.
I can see how nervous, anxious and shy Hayat gets in my presence ...
Not to forget the fact that all of this is new for both of us .
That's why ... I decided to give her some time, also decided to give some time to our relationship.
Obviously, trusting each other needs time, building a relationship also needs time.
These things don't just happen in one night...or a day....
And I understand that very well.
One thing...
There's one thing that keeps messing with my head though....
Does she even like me???
I keep thinking about this .
I may have shown her my liking .... But I don't even know what she feels around me.
Is she even comfortable in my presence???
She never says anything to me...
Well....

.
.
I guess I need to impress her a little more... Work a little harder.
Tomorrow... I'll try to take her on a date....

Planning about what to do for the frst date.... Rayan falls asleep.
Its the next morning...
After praying Fajr.... some people go back to their sleep while some carry out their morning routines .
Mahnoor and hayat enter the kitchen to get their morning drinks... Warm water with half a lemon squeezed in along with a tsp of honey.
Aman and Rayan on the other hand go for a morning run. They come from their run and enter the kitchen only to find the girls sitting on the kitchen counter enjoying their drinks.
"Assalamualaikum everyone... What are we drinking ?"asks Aman in his cheerful tone and
Rayan says salam a little calmly.... It's too loud for him this early in the morning
"Walaikum assalam" they reply simultaneously ...
" honey lemon water... Want some??" Asks hayat
" uh .. no thanks bhabhi.... I'm not capable of enjoying such things" says Aman making a funny face towards the drink
"What are you ?? A kid?? " asks mahnoor
"No ... I'm a grown man Alhamdulillah... I need my protein thankyou" says Aman and goes to get some eggs from the fridge.
On the other hand... Towards the other end of the kitchen
" Can I have some of your drink? " whispers Rayan while being near to Hayat...
She didn't even realise when he came so close...
He takes the cup from her hand brushing his fingers lightly on hers .
He takes a sip.
"Not bad" he says and leaves the kitchen making hayat have butterflies in her stomach.
It was after zuhr in the afternoon when everyone decided to play some board games ...
Mahnoor was annoyed to the extreme level... All thanks to Aman since he kept cheating in every game .
They decided to stop playing games and watched a movie instead with loads of snacks .
There were so many movies to choose from .
All of them enjoyed a lot.
Hayat enters the room later only to find Rayan making some calls .
Once he was done with the call, he asked Hayat to be ready by 7 in the evening and asked her to wear something simple.
