Scrim thought about the decision, knowing his friends life was in danger if he chose wrongly he was about to make a decision but then senko grabbed his pistol and aimed it at Myra and took the shot, Mr.K got in the way and took the hit groaning in pain.
Aurora: KITTY?! Are you ok?!
Mr.K: I'm fine, I'll be fine. It's gonna take more then that to bring me down.
Scrim: senko! The fuck!
Senko: I DON'T BELIEVE ANY OF YOU, YOU TOOK HIM AS A HOSTAGE! TELL US WHERE HE IS OR I'LL SHOOT AGAIN!!
Scrim grabbed the gun from senko and threw it into the pitfall.
Scrim: stop it you idiot, you'll get ragnarok killed!
Myra: fine, it seems your friend here has chosen, cross the pit fall and lose more if you wish, but we won't eat until you all have been taken by the backrooms, your souls forever wandering it's endless maze and corridors of insanity and darkness!
Senko and the others started crossing the pitfalls to get to Myra and the others. Scrim was annoyed by senko's decision but had no choice but to follow him before he got himself killed, clearly ragnarok's condition has taken a toll on him and this war and this world was making senko loose his cool and make bad decisions he otherwise wouldn't make. Just another reason why this war has to end before this outburst effects everyone else, then they'll really be in deep.
They successfully crossed and continued the chase of MEG. MEG reached level 6 and started moving quickly but quietly through the level, with their shoes and gear made out of liquid silence it was easy for them to move through the level but that didn't mean smilers where blind just attracted to noise. Scrim grabbed senko before he ran in blind.
Scrim: senko! Cut this childish game! Our friend was saved and I don't like it either but if they can help him we need to stand down.
Senko: I would rather die then let the enemy win!
Scrim: that's exactly it senko, they already won! Why aren't you understanding this! They outsmarted us AGAIN! Since we've been here we may have gained the upper hand at some point but they were always one step ahead. The secret attack back in the MEG base when we first got here. The breaching in our base and rescuing of Adam, planning the war in level 94 knowing about the quirks of that level when we didn't, knowing to hide in the houses to stay away from those creatures and we didn't, knowing how to get out of the level before the entities reached us, crossing the pitfalls, cutting ragnarok's hand off. Don't you get it?! Even if A-SYNC ain't all that smart MEG is!
Senko looked away still pissed and mad, wanting to destroy whatever he could think of.
Scrim: since day one they had the upper hand, they knew about our attack and planned accordingly with only a few hours to not only think of the plan but set it all up. They always had a back up plan, and when their plans worked they switched it up on us when they realized we were memorizing their current strategy. And just when we're about to use their strategy against them they come up with a new one and and we get knocked down again. Their too smart senko, even if A-SYNC loses this war MEG will come out victorious and aid them back to health, it doesn't help that this IS their territory after all, they know to expect the unexpected and predict and unpredictable. They used the playing field against us and we LOST.
Senko: GAAAHHHH
Senko punched the nearest wall causing a dent in the wall, he watched as the dent fixed itself as if he hadn't punched it all, even if the backrooms was destroyed it would just create again.
Scrim: we lost because we treated this world like we would back at home, back at our base, like another anomly that should be contained. But after everything, we went about this mission all wrong. This is NOTHING like back at home, this anomaly isn't just protected by it's entities, it's protected by two foundations that lived here long enough to understand how the backrooms works, what makes it tick. If we're gonna chase after them we need to think smart.
