Chapter 9: Meeting the Demon

I sighed and sat by the pool. I felt the wind blow in my face as I watched Joey stare into nowhere but the pool. How the hell are we going to get him out? In his condition, he looks paralyzed. The sun was down already and everybody was inside. If Joey is going to get hurt, then I will too. The wind suddenly got stronger for some unknown reason. It hurt when the wind blew in my face hard since it was carrying pebbles, twigs, grass, and dirt. "Gah!" I yelled as I covered my face trying to avoid all the dirt from going to my eyes. I noticed it was circling not so far away from Joey and I. It was like a tornado, but a small one. Everything then stopped, It grew silent too. A crimson red started forming where the mini tornado was at. I looked at the red, it was actually forming a figure. When it was done, a man was standing upon me. He was surprisingly handsome, he wore a tuxedo, and had jet black hair, but his eyes. His eyes were the only sign of sin. They were red mixed with blue or black. He looked like he was in his late 20's. "Hello Mina~" he said charmingly bowing down and kissing my hand as a gentlemen. I looked at him dumbfounded,"Wait...How do you know my name?" I asked looking up at him. He put on such a smile and bent down to be my size,"Promise you won't tell anyone?" I nodded slowly not so sure. "I'm Abduxuel." He whispered making sure no one heard. I felt my jaw drop open. He grabbed my chin and closed my mouth. "I know what you're thinking, yes I am the one who you and your mates were speaking to on the OUIJA Board..But I was not the one who may have hurt you, must've been others." He stood and looked down at Joey who was still unmoving. "What's wrong with your mate Mina?" I stood up and explained,"he has been unmoving and staring at the water for like 5 hours? He saw something in the water..." I mumbled the last part. He raised a thin eyebrow,"He saw something in the water? That is not a good sign Mina," he explained,"How is it THAT bad?" He shook his head,"Your friend is quite paralyzed, he must've seen a bad entity; maybe a ghost or maybe something more powerful than we demons? Which I don't know is possible," he shrugged,"you have got to be kidding me.." I mumbled biting my bottom lip nervously. "But, I could help your friend get out of the water, reasons why you couldn't get him out is that whatever he saw in the water...is holding him back and stopped him from breathing and thinking; so he doesn't know what's going on right now and worst of all, he doesn't even know who he is, or what he is, right now." I covered my mouth with both of my hands in astonishment. "And if we can't get him out?" He looked down at me,"For sure, he can be kept by that entity, and killed in the most horrible way...but! In his mind, not in the real world.." I looked up,"Then he is not dead." He said no with his finger,"I'm sorry but you're wrong, he will feel everything but it's not happening in earth...once he stops breathing in his mind and has been brutally killed, he will stop breathing on earth too. He will never be put to rest because he can't rest peacefully." Tears started escaping my eyes,"when are we going to get him out?" I asked with bravery. "We can't take him out right now since that entity might be very active and strong when it comes to no sunlight...we have to do it in the morning, so meet me here in this very spot..but don't bring none of your mates got it?" I hesitated before nodding,"O-ok." He then pointed at the sliding door,"Now you go inside and get some rest, you will need it." Was the last thing he said before disappearing into thin air.
