Hey guys, another chapter woohoo! I hope you enjoy this one, I didn't know what to put for the theme of this chapter lmao. - Ana
The dinner was kind of quiet. It wasn't a good quiet either, I finished my meal and I have sit back and observed.
"So Hakoda, I know your son was involved with a fight with my son" Ozai spoke, it spooked everyone, all eyes were on Hakoda and of course he looked uncomfortable.
"He was?" He spoke to himself as he looked at Sokka with confusion, giving him the look of confusion and frustration. He cleared his throat, "Yes I'm so sorry about that, my son would never behave like that. He is going to get the punishment he deserves." Hakoda confidently spoke.
"Good... then he can do community service for the great republican city." He smirked all while drinking his jasmine tea.
"Does he really have to? Hakoda blurred.
"Well you said he was going to get the punishment he deserves. And I whole heartily believe that so community service will be great." He stated. They didn't know what else to say.
"I don't think that's necessary for him to do community service, it was just a fight between 2 guys, it happens all the time." Katara jumped in, defending her brother.
"Of course you would say that, you're his sister" zuko growled, she could tell that he was a bit frustrated with the side she chose, but that's her brother, he's family.
"Katara, I'm your boyfriend. You should know this" zuko whined.
"That doesn't mean anything." Katara replied in anger, she was getting upset at this point.
"You know if you think that community service is going to do anything, Aang is the avatar. He is the king of doing community service." Sokka brightly stated.
"Ya well your little avatar friend did this to my face." Zuko growled back while pointing at the bruise where Aang hit.
"I can't tell which is which, is that a scar burn or a bruise?" He smirked. Suki giggled while Ozai started laughing.
"Boy you are good with your jokes." He laughed off. "Fine. You wont do community service but I will talk with the principal of course." Ozai concluded.
"We better head our way now Zuko has a tournament tomorrow for fire bending. Hopefully he'll win this time"
"Tournament?" Katara asked.
"yes."
"Oh"
"Katara, you know this. I told you." Zuko chimes in.
"I'm sorry."
Ozai and Zuko stood up from their chair as they finished their meals and walked to the front door. "Thank you for the meal Hakoda, you're very nice man" He looked at before he opens the door, zuko following behind him and closes the door.
"Sokka, what fight did you get into school with?" Hakoda questioned as he turned around to look at his son with curiosity in his eyes.
"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING IT WAS A FIGHT THAT ZUKO ANS HIS FRIENDS STARTED AND THAT KATARA LET HAPPEN." He scream while turning to Katara. "I'M SURPRISED YOU STUCK UP FOR ME BECAUSE YOU PROBABLY DID THAT WHILE DAD WAS HERE." He pointed.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS YOU GUYS WERE THE ONE THAT PUNCH ZUKO." Katara fought back defending her partner.
"Actually it was Aang that did that." Sokka corrected.
"Aang?" Both Hakoda and Gran-Gran asked at the same time. "That boy would never!" Gran-Gran said defensively.
"Well with a form like his, he's definitely strong for his age. Let's remind ourselves he's 16." Hakoda stated.
"Whatever I hate you Sokka" Katara growled as she stormed off to the stairs, as she stomps up for wooden creek stairs she heads into her room and slams to the door shut. It was loud enough that everyone downstairs could hear it.
"UGHH, I hate everyone." Katara was walking back and forth in her room trying to calm down. She would water bend when she would be angry. It was a form of meditation to her. She loves water bending. After a while she started to calm down.
She laid on her bed as she thought about today. She didn't know what to do. Something was definitely going on with all of them and I'm not in it. I wanted to know what was going on. She got up from her bed and stares herself in the mirror.
"I am beautiful, I am strong, I'm master Katara, master of water bender and a great fighter."
As she said this she goes into her drawers and looks for a pair of PJs to get into since the day is almost over. As she finds PJs she stumbles upon and old picture of her and Aang, all happy. She smiled at the picture, she looked so happy too. She stares for a little while until she feels sad. She sighs and she puts the picture away.
She finds the PJs she decides to wear as she heads off to the shower.
.....
Aang dropped Kuzon home and Aang went home as well. It was getting pretty late anyways so he had to be in bed for school tomorrow.
Appa lands in their backyard as Aang gets off his back. Aang gets an apple for him and he throws it into his mouth. "Here you go Appa, you're a good bison. I love you, he smiles as he spats his head. Walking into his barn where he places Appa. There he went inside and he finds Gyatso in the living room watching T.V.
"Hello Aang."
"Hi Gyatso."
"Go to bed we will talk tomorrow. It's very urgent." Gyatso stated in a serious tone.
"Oh no, did Azula tell Gyatso?" Aang asked himself. "Ok good night" as he walked up the stairs into his room, he thought about what Azula said. She triggered the member of when she had killed Aang when he was 12. He wasn't scared of her, and it wasn't like he wasn't gonna get saved again. But to be fair he didn't know how he revived, all he knew was that Katara saved his life. He remembered as he opened his eyes to find his forever girl looking at him with tears in her life and with relief. It's was sad. He loved her, maybe still does.
As he thought of the memory of him and Katara, he received a phone call from a number that looked recognized, he picked up the phone, "hello?"
"Aang?"
"Katara?"
