^One of the songs she was listening to^

I looked back, crying as my dad's car drove away. I waved to Amy, and I can see that she was crying too.

But it's okay, we'll see each other in a week.

I made sure to bring my headphones, my phone of course and a charger with me, obviously for the ride. It was around 8 hours, which would probably be the worst 8 hours of my life.

But maybe Germany is different. Who knows, I might even find a boyfriend, maybe Amy will too. She's really pretty, gorgeous even.

Maybe a girlfriend, I don't have a preference.

"Do you have your seatbelt on, Raven?" My dad asked, looking at me from the rearview mirror.

"No." I replied, and scoffed. I was visibly upset. But it's okay, I brought a book, and a pillow so I'll be fine for now.

"Well then put it on. We don't want any accidents happening." He gave me the same attitude.

That's how he was, he treats you the same as you treat him. Not that I minded, he's a really fun dad.

"Okay. But I'm putting my headphones on, so don't get mad if I don't respond or something." I responded as I clicked my seatbelt on.

Then, I grabbed my headphones, and began listening to music while reading.

3 hours later 😙 ---------

"Are we almost there??" I obnoxiously asked my mom.

"No, it's only been 3 hours Rae." She responded, clearly annoyed. Then, my dad spoke up.

"We're going to stop here for a while, I know, I'm tired of sitting in the car too. There's some bathrooms if you want to go in and I can give you some money for snacks. If you don't want any of that, just step outside and stretch. I don't want you complaining your legs hurt later."

It was a little gas station on the side of the road.

"Okay.. can I have the money then?" I asked him before he handed me 10 dollars.

I stepped out the car while groaning. My legs have went completely numb and I was using the door for support. It really hurt to walk, but the snacks were worth it.

I walked.. or should I say waddled over to the store while my dad got some more gas.

I got some hot cheetos, plain old monster, trail mix and a Hershey's chocolate bar.

I know it was really unhealthy but I couldn't care less. I am stressed, nervous, anxious.

What if no one likes me, and thinks I'm a weird foreigner or something? What if they're like those girls from elementary.

"8.75" the cashier said.

He looked tired. He had a small beard, long hair... Greasy hair. Had lots of piercings and smelled like straight weed.
