V's Pov

I slowly start to reboot as I gain consciousness, "Fuckk what happened earlier? My head is killing" I groan in agony as I steady myself up, I shake my head a bit as the pounding headache slowly goes away. I scan my surrounding to get a grip of what happened when I saw J's body still out but they where still regenerating. I couldn't leave her out here but I can't touch her nanites while regrowing. Ughhh and the sun is coming up in less than 2 hours. I look around more and don't spot N, "great where is the drone?" I mentally sigh. I make my way to the landing pod hoping that J would be fully recovered so she could bring her in but when I stepped foot in I saw N in rest mode, one of his bulbs where red, must have been knocked out.... wait "DID HE LET THE WORKER DRONE GET AWAY?" I panic as I didn't see her dead corpse.

V: FUCK! I yell into my hands.

This woke up N as he looks over my way,

N: What is wrong V? He asked concerned.

I run my hands down my visor before sighing. I glare at him before replying.

V: The TOASTER got away idiot, must of knocked us all out, gotta give credit tho she's strong but I ain't defending scrap metal now GET UP, we going to look for that toaster. I rant to him

N seemed to understand and didn't question anything, instead he makes his way out the pod and deployed his wings. I also make my way out and spot J's body fully regenerated but still out cold.

V: Hang on we gotta put J in the landing pod, can't have her vulnerable out here. I sigh

Once I was finished putting J into her bed I make my way back to N and also deploy my wings, I scan the footsteps in the snow as it gives me a map of where the drone somewhat went, I nod and N before taking off as He did after me.

V: Okay so I know where the toaster went so just follow my lead. I command as I take lead.

After some flying I spot a big factory with 3 doors, the footsteps stopped here so I slow down and start to defend to the floor. I land with a gush of wind as N lands behind me. I look around for a way in when I spot a vent. "Bingo" I cheer to myself As I motion to N the vent, Well we gotta make this fast as the sun is coming up in less than an hour, all we are doing is killing that toaster, also grab some snacks of the colony and make it back in time for the sun to come. Sounds simple enough,

I make my way into the vent as quietly as possible. The vents where dark besides the glow of mine and N's eyes, headband and tails. We turn our night vision setting on as As we crawl deeper into the vent, we look in the small holes to try find the toaster. If I was being honest she was kinda cute, I love cute prey I chuckle in my head.

V: Hey moron found her.. I whisper as I nudge him in the arm

He looks down and then back to me as if awaiting his next command, the toaster was Lying in a dim lit room asleep, perfect as she was vulnerable. I climb out the vent and place an X on my Visor, N follows my lead as I approach the drone sleeping peacefully in her bed, I look around her room and see various wepons and some sort of comics littered on the floor along with blueprints, boy she could have cleaned her room, who am I to care tho I'm only here for revenge.

N: wait she isn't a worker drone is she? She's a Disassembly, drone, I recognise her from last night. N whispered cheerfully

He makes his way towards the drone before me and blocked my way. I roll my virtual eyes before whacking him across the head.

V: Are u actually kidding me right now u Moron, ITS A WORKER DRONE DICKHEAD, must have knocked ur sensors, here let me help with that, I grunt a bit to loud.
