Kali's Pov

The moon shone brightly in my room as I started to wake up, letting my visor adjust to the light. I look to the right of me to see C in their bed still asleep upside-down. I am suddenly hit with the realisation that I'm going back to my colony. I had completely forgot abt that. I get out of bed to get ready for the day before I walk outside the worn down shuttle and take a seat on the roof staring at the stars. E makes her way out of the shuttle and joins me.

E: Hey short stack, somert on your mind? She asks.

I look at the older drone, she was 19 while I was 16, the youngest in the squad.

Kali: Yeah I guess, just nervous to head back to the colony after these past few months. I chuckle lightly as I fidget with the sleve of my blue jacket.

E: Understandable, anyways I came out to tell u breakfast was ready, B is inside waiting on you so he can eat his pancakes. She smiles as she jumps down. She catches me before placing me on the floor.

I look at E as a mother figure, she looked out for all of us, mainly me as I was the youngest.

B: Hey kal! U finally here now I can eat yesss. He smiles before eating.

I turn my attention to C as she smiles at me and motioning for me to sit down next to her, I look at the pancakes infront of me, they had blueberrys in. I eat up before placing my plate in the sink to wash later as I was dragged to mine and C's room as she closes the door behind me and tackles me Into a hug.

C: E told me ur nervous sooooo I'll give u some good luck cuddles, how's that sound? She smiles looking at me.

Kali: Can't miss an opportunity to get free cuddles. I reply before kissing the other girls cheek.

We lie there enjoying eachothers company for 20 minutes before they decided to get ready.

The other squad leaders make there way here as V and N are the first due to being closest. C goes off talking to her brother as I male my way to E's Room, knocking first.

E: Hey Kali what's up? She asks, she let's me in as I still at the corner of her bed, she joins me wrapping an arm round me.

Kali: I'm just scared that my actual parents are not gonna like the fact I'm back. I mean my mom was pretty furious when I brought C back for the first time. I rant a bit

E: Well if they wanna be a doosh bag then they van, you know I'll always be here for you, so would B and C. She smiles looking at me with warm and calm eyes.

I wrap my arms round E as she returns the hug.

Kali: Can u come with us? I ask.

E: yeah ofc, I think B was on abt going to A's shuttle today to hang out with F and H. She replies.

Kali: Thanks E, idk what I would do without you. I smile

E: No problem kid, she replies ruffling my hair. I swat her hand away playfully as we both make out way outside the shuttle.

E goes over to C to tell them that she will be coming as I make my way over to Uzi.

Kali: Hey Uzi! I greet.

Uzi: Hey short stuff, she smirks.

I playfully nudge her for the nickname.

Kali: You have this to come tomorrow remember. I remind as she nods. I could tell she was nervous aswell.

A: Is everyone ready? She yells out the the gang.

We all nod as I make my way to E, I climb on her back as C was leading the way and she needed to rest her back from the constant flying me to places.

We take off as we make our way to the colony. I grip onto E's jacket to stay on.

It was a short flight as we land infront of the door. I get of E's back and make my way forward to the door. Everyone else behind me. I gulp before knocking on the door.

??: Coming. They yell

The door opens as they see me. They look behind me before screaming and going to shut the door, I flinch as the door stops and I see C's claws holding it upen while she struggled. She manages to open the door before picking up the other drone.

C: You let us in or die. She spat coldly as he nods rapidly, sweating like crazy.

Kali: C, u can put them down now. I yell embarrassed a bit.

She drops the drone and walks over to me taking my hand. The others follow behind as me and C lead the way.

C: one squeeze is your nervous. Two means u want to step out for a bit. She whispers.

I nod as I squeeze their hand once.

We make it to thr office, stairing at the door. C squeezes my hand 3 times to reassure me. I move my hand to knock the door. The door opens to reveal my father. He looks at me and C then the other disassembly drones behind me.

Mr Odel: K-kali? What are these murderous drones doing here? He questions with a shackey voice, he was scared and intimidated by them.

Kali: We will explain in a min but can we come in? I ask nervously. He moves out the way letting us all in. The office was fairly big.

Kali: where is mother? I ask.

Mr Odel: she's off with your aunt having some sort of spa day. He replies before sitting down.

V: Hey sir, sorry to scare you. We aren't here to kill we here to ask u a favour. V started

Mr Odel: oh well proceed.

V proceeds to explain with the help of thr others in the room. I sit and stare at my hands in my lap. C was on my left and E on my right. I rest my head on C's shoulder as she interlocks my hand with hers. E smiled at the scene. The meeting goes on for another hour as we start to come to an agreement of something. I started to get a bit restless as C noticed, she squeezed my hand twice before looking at me asking I wanted to go out. I shake my head as i wanted to stay and try face this, that was until my mother walked in.

Mrs Odel: What in COPPER 9 IS GOING ON? She yells

Some of us flinch at the tone.

Mr Odel: I can explain. He says.

Mrs Odel: WHY IS THERE MURDERS HERE? She yells looking at me. WHY IS SHE BRINGING THESE I THOUGHT WE BANISHED HER. She spat.

I flinch as I look away hiding behind C and E as they step forward ready to defend.

V: WE ARE HERE TO TRY SAVE YOU CUNTS. V Growls standing up. I saw Uzi blush lol.

Mrs Odel: WHY WHEN U HUNT US? She asks.

V: BC THE HUMANS ARE GONNA TAKE OVER COPPER 9 U FAT COW. She yells back earning a few giggles at the comments.

As V and my mom start arguing as N holds V back E and C took the opportunity to take me outside. I turn arounda nd crash into C's arms as she sits down on the floor eith me in her lap. E sat next to me brushing her hand through my hair.

E: we got you kid, don't worry. She coos. We sit in comfortable scilence as I sobbed quietly before falling asleep.

The meeting ends as everyone makes there way back, managing to successfully get this colony on our side. I was asleep on C's back. I feel her take me to my bed as she kisses me on yhr forehead letting me sleep,
