Hey all before I start. This takes place 3 days after the events of the last chapter. Enjoy.

V's pov.

It had been three days since we killed off Uzi's father. We could also pick up Uzi not being able to handle it well as she locked herself in her room, only coming out for food and then dissapearing again. We tried talking to her but she just threw it back in our face. She was avoiding us all together. Today that stops.

It was currently 00:08am in the morning as me and N where just finishing up hunting for the night. We cleaned ourselves off as we heard a knock at the door. Weird? I make my way to the pods door. I open it to find. J....

V: Sorry don't know you. I spat attempting to slam the door when J put her foot in the way.

J: look I'm not here for the shit off you both. I'm here to tell you that since you have not updated in a month. Tessa is on her way to check up on you. I'm meeting her at the place she told me then making our way here. Now let me in for a bit. She demanded.

My breath hitched. N and Uzi ain't gonna like this.

V: Well come in I guess. I sigh in defeat.

J comes in and looks around.

J: this place has changed. She Mumbles in a monotone voice.

I roll my virtual eyes. J sits down on the sofa while I make my way to N's room first to tell him the news and to stay in his room as she makes an excuse saying he's out hunting. I knock on his door as I hear a muffled shout. I open the door a bit before slipping in and closing it. I make my way to N's desk chair and sit down. N was on his bed scrolling through his phone.

N: hi V! You don't look good. He replys switching his phone off to face me.

V: if I'm being honest I don't feel great either. I mumble looking down.

I was petrified that Tessa was coming. Means I'll have to relive memories I wish I didn't have. I sigh putting on a brave face though.

V: Look. Stay in your room and try not to make much noise. J is back and she has warned us Tessa is coming. I spill to N.

His expression dropped filling with nothing but fear and pain.

N: Tessa? No no and J nooo. He started rapidly speaking as I couldn't understand the rest of what he was saying.

V: Hey hey hey... your speed talking again. Can you slow down for me. I coo holding onto his hands. He breathes in and out a bit before relaxing a little.

V: if you hide in your corner you will be okay. Once J is gone to meet Tessa ill let you know okay bud? I whisper to him.

I get a nod as he makes his way into his corner with the essentials he needed. I make my way out of his room and look at Uzi's door. I would like to warn her but not while J is here. She can't know im dating let alone having a worker drone here.

I make my way back to the living room.

V: Oil? I ask in a bored voice.

J: I'm alright. Ate before I got here, he replys in a monotone voice.

I sit down on a beanbag in the room and avoid contact with J.

V: so where did you scamper to then? I blurt out.

J: found an apartment. Living there than this shithole. She spat back.

I roll my eyes.

J: wheres the moron bot? Did you dispose him? She questioned.

I stare at her with hate.

V: I didn't actually but he's out hunting if you oh so care to know. I growl with venom.
