Uzi's pov.

I wake up in a tight embrace as I look to see V still sound asleep. Snoring softly. I wiggle out as I make my way off thr bed. I head to the bathroom to take a shower a and get ready for the day. I look in the mirror to see a mark (indent) on my neck. "Im gonna kill this bitch" I grunt to myself as I look around for something to cover it. I panic as I walk out the bathroom. I needed to wake up V but she looked to peaceful. I sigh and make my way to the kitchen to grab some food. Hoping not yo bump into N on the way. It was a Sunday so V and N would go hunting for the day.

I find something to eat as I stand leaning against the counter lost in thought. With what tessa warned us we should most likely start prepping. I could try upgrade my railgun. I'll discuss with the others on it later. I finish up eating as I make my way back to my room. I look in to see V sitting up. She must hv woken up just. Perfect opportunity to tell V off hehe.

Uzi: Morning mosquito. I joke as I make my way to the bed.

V: Morning, wait what? She croaks, not long having been up.

Uzi: You heard Mr, now I could use ur help. I simply reply back as I sit infront of V.

I move my hair to show the mark as she blushes.

V: shit did I do that? She frantically says getting a closer look.

Uzi: Well nah, I made out with some random chick or dude. COURSE U MORON. I sarcastically reply.

V goes quiet as she gets off the bed leaving me confused. She goes out mh room and disappearing into her room. Then coming back with  something in her hand. A purple bandanna.

V: put that on to cover it. It might also compliment ur look cutie~ she flirts giving me the bandanna.

Uzi: Shut up. I snap back flustered as I put the bandanna on.

V goes to get ready as I sit at my desk with my railgun. I start working on a blueprint as I grab a piece of paper snd start sketching some ideas.

N: Morning Uzi! Me and V are going hunting. Don't burn down the landing pod. He smiles.

Uzi: I won't dont worry! Don't get killed. I remark back as N hugs me before leaving.

I focus myself to the task I started instantly getting into it.

N's pov.

I finish saying goodbye go Uzi and I meet V outside ready to go.

V: We are heading south tonight. I heard there was still worker drones there plus it isn't in any of the other squads territory. She explains as she deploys her wings.

I do the same as we take off into the sky. The air rushing through my hair.

N: sooo about what Tessa told us. How exactly are we gonna prepare for it? I question to start a conversation.

V: I'm thinking of telling the other squads about it. Yes it can be really risky but we could get some sort of alliance. Maybe even Uzi's colony. I'll talk to Tessa tonight and Uzi on a plan. She replies as she flys close so I could hear.

N: it sounds like a solid plan but how would we get to the other squads territory without being ripped to shreds. Remember when we accidentally entered Sky squad? I shoot back.

V: ill figure something out. But I would have to ask a question and u don't have to fully reply but do you still have contact with ur sister? She asks.

I stop mid air as she stops after. I look her dead in the eye as she looks back. I have not had contact with her since my parents stopped me to. Heck I forgot what she even looked like. All I know is that she is now 17 as I stopped seeing her when she was 14. Before I moved to copper 9 before the incidents of the mansion. I shake the thoughts away holding in tears.
