Part 9:- New Friends... Old Feelings

Same day at 5:59 pm

Pov:- Peter Parker

After a nice sleep for a few hours I am on my way again to the Stacy's apartment but as Peter Parker, after all even he was a part of this mission. But after waking up wherever my bones were broken all of those places were hurting terribly... Being beaten up by Kraven, then fighting in a nightclub, then looking around for Tombstone in New York, then being involved in a car chase in the NYC to Washington highway at midnight...

All of this happened within the span of 3 days. My body is aching like hell, Cap was right I did need to rest

I approach the door of their flat, I knock immediately welcomed by Harry "Hey man!" He looks at me in excitement and hugs me tightly

"Ow Harry not too tight" 

He pulls back and looks at me "Anything wrong?" He asks

"You must have forgotten that I got mugged and I am still recovering" I chuckle in pain

"Oh I am so sorry I totally forgot, come in" When I come in everyone present in the room gets happy as if they were waiting for me

Gwen comes forward and hugs me "I am so happy to see you right now!"

"Yeah me too"

Captain and Mrs. Stacy come from the bedroom, Cap is delighted to see me "Hi Peter..." he pauses for a second and looks at me "Last time when we met you looked better but today you look worse... everything ok son?"

"Yeah I look bad today cause that day I covered up with some makeup"

Gwen looks at me surprised "You own makeup?"

"It was my Aunt's makeup kit" One of the few things I have left of her

"What do you mean by was?" Mrs. Stacy asks

I lower sigh "She... passed away few years ago" 

And that too because of me

Mr. Stacy gasped "Oh I am so sorry... we shouldn't have asked"

"Oh no Captain it's ok totally fine..." 

He chuckles hearing that "Call me Captain when I am only on duty, besides you have helped us greatly so you can call me either by name or even Mister will do fine" He smiles

"Okay... if that's the case" The room went silent as everyone notices how low I am while speaking

Harry comes close and puts his arms around me "Come on man you can free up a bit with us..."

"Oh I am okay just been a long time being with anyone like this"

Suddenly I hear a knock on the door "I'll get it" I walk to the door and open it, I see Michelle in front of me in a blue hoodie with a shopping bag...

She looks at me with a smile "Hey Parker..." She puts her hand forward indicating me for a handshake

I hold her hand "Hi, so... Mission Accomplish I guess" she nods her head. My eyes then looks at her shopping bag which seems to contain bottles "What's in that?"

"I heard you were coming here so I went and bought some beers to celebrate" She says as she enters the flat she greets everyone present and moves towards the kitchen table

"Just so you know I don't drink"

She looks at me surprised "But that day I did get you a drink right?"

"But I did not even take a single sip from it"

"But come on a little won't do anything... besides we are all above 18 and in our 20's" She tries to convince
