So, I'm switching POV's a lot in this bc yay, perspective and I need some more lore shit to get out.

Gray clouds formed over Flower Fruit Mountain, another storm, another hell.

Macaque knew it was coming, days before anyone else could even see the clouds approaching. Macaque was sitting in a cave when the thunder and lightning and rain started. He felt like his ears were exploding. To be honest, two of them were bleeding due to how loud it was. He was trying to keep his groans and yells of agony down and he pressed himself a cave wall in pain.

Worse yet, he couldn't hear two demons approaching due to how loud it was in the cave.

Wukong stood in the doorway of his temple, Gibbon and Red walked up to him from behind, putting a hand on his shoulder in a calming gesture.

"He should've been back by now.." Wukong said as Gibbon stood next to him.

"He'll be fine. It's Macaque! Nothing bad can happen to him, even with the intestines of the storm, his ears will be able to pick up anything happening."

"Anything and everything.."

"You majesty, please, he will be fine, if gets hurt he can heal himself. You need rest, you've been waiting for him for over two hours."

Gibbon led the king back into the temple to rest for a while, looking back at the door, hoping that Macaque would just suddenly appear there to calm them down.

More specifically Wukong.

Why? Why did Macaque have such an impact on him?

Gibbon didn't know, even though she represents knowledge, though...oddly enough....Macaque is more knowledgeable than she is about many things. So, Macaque would have the answer.

Has the answer.

Macaque felt hands grab his tail and shoulder. He looked up painfully to see Azure Lion and Peng.

"What the hell-?!" Macaque was cut off when Peng punched him in the face, knocking him out quickly due to his weakness due to the storm's lively nature.

......

Macaque woke up to the feel of the blister sun on him. He opened his eyes, sitting up.

Peng walked by him with a scoff. Macaroni growled and jumped at him, immediately being thrown back in place. Macaque looked down to see that he was chained down on a cliff side.

"Peng, what the fuck is this?" Macaque called after the departing bird demon.

"You'll know soon enough, coward."

And with that, Peng left.

Macaque let out a frustrated growl, he tried summoning a shadow portal to take him home. Nothing. Macaque glared at the chains. Magic suppressed chains, just his luck...

Macaque sighed and laid on the ground, looking at the sky and cliff above.

Like Wukong thought, the storm wasn't normal, it was a hurricane, an intense one at that.

Wukong was bouncing his leg up and down in a worrisome way, biting his nails, and pulling fur from his tail. Gibbon and Red kept trying to reassure him.

"My king, it's fine, Macaque is going to be okay."

"No! He's not! Stop telling me that!"

Wukong snapped, pushing Red backwards as he growled.

"He's not okay! I know it...he's not okay.....I...I think something happened to him...just let me go look for him!"

Gibbon shook her head.

"We can't let you do that-''

Wukong grabbed her by the neck, tightening his grip on her neck as he slowly lifted her off the ground a bit. Gibbon kept trying to get out of his grasp, the red and gold eyes of the king stared at her.

Wukong shook his head, his eyes returning back to their normal honey color. He let go of her and walked by, leaving the temple.

A bird flew out into the storm. His wings beating against the wind as he looked for his mango, a nickname Wukong had started calling Macaque in his head. He flew around, fighting the winds as hard as he could.

He flew down into a cave, looking around it before transforming back to normal. He ran up to a cave wall where he saw claw marks, black fur against a rock and....blood.

Wukong panicked, he thought about going Diyu to see if Macaque got hurt and went home. Then he thought about going to the dragon palace, then the heavenly realms, then finally...Azure's Youtopia.

He decided to go to Azure's, something was just...pulling him in that direction, it was a bad feeling yes, but, maybe, just maybe he was there, used the wrong portal or something...

Or something...

Omg, I'm actually posting a chapter for the first time in a while.

Sorry abt that lol School started for me so yeah, I'm planning on posting more stuff when I have the time, so look for more this weekend ig?

Idk if I'll post a whole lot this weekend but uh, yeah :/
