*Rewriting this because I really didn't like the statutory rape in the first chapter and other things.

Chapter 1: Living Art

TAEHYUNG sat against the windowpane of his art studio, though he spent more time there than home it has been years since he felt inspiration to pick up the brush. His tan skin chilled by the winter weather outside the window. The city was busy below him, he gaze down to see hundred of people walking across streets and sidewalks and cars stuck in traffic. He couldn't understand why he found the beauty and the ugliness of this city both appealing. An ivory moon hung above the rapid atmosphere, shining through dark clouds.

From where he was position he could see the soft, golden glow of lights from inside a building that hosted an art gallery down the street. He noticed people entering the gallery; it was starting to look packed with them. A sighed came from between his lips contemplating whether to go, because each time he did he only felt worse about his own art never amounting to much and he didn't want to make the same mistake of being too inspired by someone else's work. There was no time in his career than when he was accused of plagiarism.

Still, there were a lot of people entering the building. They pulled his curiosity inside along with them. He pulled at his hair that has now grown past his eyes before he hummed out, "I guess it couldn't really hurt my career any worse than it already is."

He glanced towards his leather jacket that laid on the floor with the rest of his clothing. When he pulled it on he lifted his shoulders up and down feeling how lightweight it was, he knew it wasn't enough to shield him from the cold, but it was the only thing he had. It was right down the street, so it shouldn't be too bad.

When he walked towards the elevator that was the only entrance and exit to his apartment, he turned around to look at it once more. Everything a mess despite not having any paint touch a canvas in months, maybe it was about time for him to give up. His attention was taken away by the ding of the elevator finally arriving to his floor before he stepped inside and turn to look at his room again as the door closed.

As soon as the elevator door opened to the lobby of his apartment building he knew it was chilly outside because of how cold it was inside. The receptionist, a blonde, green eyed young woman who was the niece of the landlord of his building, shivered even though she wore a coat much larger than his. She was very beautiful and wouldn't give him the time of the day until he finally gave up, at least that what she thought.

"It's pretty toasty in here, Ava," Taehyung said sarcastically fanning his face with his hands. Her body looked frozen as her eyes shifted to him, then she lifted up a glove hand and gave him the finger. "Turn the heat down a little, will ya?"

"Go to hell, Kim," she said, her voice quivering as she spoke out and he laughed as he opened the exit to the lobby.

Suddenly, it felt like chills piercing through his jacket as the wind blew. His nose felt extremely cold and was already running, women's hair blew into their faces, and driver's seem more agitated than usual.

"It's cold as shit out here," Taehyung muttered, before he embraced himself then started speed walking down the sidewalk with his head facing slightly down so the wind would not cut into his face as much.

For some reason, the short walk to the gallery, felt like a long trek, before he finally made it to his destination. Luckily, it was warm, alleviating the pain from the frigid weather as he squeezed up between the bodies that were also trying to rush inside to escape into the heat. As he got closer to a second set of doors inside, a brunette with a silver piercing through her eyebrow handed him a pamphlet.
