Chapter 8: Old Friend From China

Chyna held Kiasia's hand as she pulled her through the crowd of people dancing on the dance floor until they got to a bar. Chyna held up two fingers at the bartender who then sat down two glass cups and poured a brown liquid in them.

"Oh, I don't drink." Kiasia told Chyna shaking her head.
"You don't have to drink much, it'll just take your mind off of things and relax." Chyna said putting her glass up to her lips. Kiasia watched as Chyna drunk it. She then slowly put the cup up to her lips and felt as the liquid burned going down her throat and she started gagging.

"That shit hits hard." Chyna warned her after she drunk it.
"Thanks for the heads up." Kiasia sarcastically said still gagging as she pat her chest.
"Want another one?" Chyna asked her holding her empty glass.
"Yeah." Kiasia said then Chyna asked for another one, then Kiasia drunk it feeling it warm her whole body.

"I'm going to use the bathroom I'll be right back." Chyna said before disappearing into the crowd. Kiasia then sighed and her a finger up for another drink as she looked at the crowd.

She then jumped when she noticed Suga walking through the crowd towards the bar with Jungkook following close behind him.
"What the hell are they doing here?" Kiasia mumbled  turning around and putting her hand over her face so. "I don't have time for this?"

"How many?" The bartender asked them.
"Four. One of me, my friend, his girl, and this pretty lady right here." She heard Suga slurred, then she peek to see Jungkook with his arm wrapped around another girl.
"That's probably the girl he cheated on me with." Kiasia thought then she watched as another drink was placed in front of her and that's  when she realized the pretty lady Suga was referring to was her.

"Where are you from?" Suga slurred as he got closer to the girl.
"America." Kiasia said quietly to him.
"Are you here alone?" Suga asked her.
"No." Kiasia told to him.
"No? I don't see anyone around here but you." Suga asked her.

"Want to go home with me tonight?" Suga asked putting his hand around her waist.
"No." Kiasia said turning to look at him, then Suga squint as he looked at her.
"Kiasia?" He whispered looking behind him at Jungkook he was being occupied by another girl.

"That's isn't what that looks like." Suga told her.
"I bet so." Kiasia told him drinking the drink.
"He's drunk." Suga tried to convince her.
"Like when he cheated on me?" Kiasia chuckled as she looked down.

"Yes, he is an idiot but he's an idiot who loves you a lot." Suga said to her trying to cover her face from Jungkook.
"And I'm an idiot for ever loving him." Kiasia finished her drink. "Put my drinks on his tab." Kiasia told the bartender pointing at Suga before getting up and walking away.

As she was walking she accidentally bumped into a guy and she moved to the side not feeling like talking.

"You can't say excuse me?" The guy asked Kiasia.
"I'm sorry." She bowed before trying to walking off again.
"Kiasia?" The guy asked her.

"Yeah, that's me." She then looked up at the guy and recognized him from when she was staying in China. "Jackson!"

She excitedly hugged him and he wrapped his arms around her back then she back up to get a good look at him.
"How do I look?" Jackson asked her posing.
"You're hot." Kiasia said looking him up and down.
"Wasn't I before?" He pouted holding her hand.

"No." Kiasia said teasingly then Jackson hugged her again.
"Ahh, I missed you so much. I'm sorry I lost contact with you." Jackson said.
"Yeah, me too." Kiasia said to him pulling away from the hug. "What are you doing here?"
"Came here to study." Jackson said. "And I heard it was a party so I came to look for some girls, but I guess my search ended." Then Kiasia laughed pushing away from him.

"Are you alone?" Kiasia asked him.
"Yeah." Jackson said then Kiasia looked to see Chyna talking to some guys behind Jackson.
"May I join you?" She asked him.
"Of course." He said putting his arms around her waist then pulling her to the dance floor.

Kiasia started awkwardly dancing in front of Jackson as she looked at Jungkook and Suga still at the bar. Jackson then laughed at her grabbing her hands.
"Drink a little and relax." Jackson said grabbing a drink off of a platter as a waiter walked by then handed it to her.
"Okay." Kiasia said taking a drink then felt the warmth of the alcohol fill her body as she started dancing again.

"One, two, three." Jackson said then him and Kiasia took shots as quickly as they could.
"Yeah, that's enough drinking for me." Kiasia said as she felt herself getting a little tipsy.
"Come one don't be a buzzkill." Jackson said words slurring.
"I think you had enough too."Kiasia said taking a drink from his hands and putting it down on a table.
"Yeah, Probably." Jackson stumbled as he tried to stand up. Kiasia walked beside him and grabbed him by the waist to keep him from falling.

When they got outside she saw Jungkook with the girl from before hugged all up on her. Kiasia scoffed trying to walk past them without being noticed.

"Kiasia? Is that you?" She heard Jungkook voice ask.
"Shit." Kiasia thought, but she kept walking with Jackson propped on her shoulders.
"Kiasia... please listen to me." She heard Jungkook say behind her. "I'm sorry."

"Let's get you home." Kiasia said to Jackson ignoring Jungkook. Then they both stopped when Jungkook stood in front of them.
"Kiasia, did you already moved on from me?" Jungkook asked her.
"Yes." Kiasia said walking past Jungkook with Jackson in her arms.
"Kiasia you don't have to lie." She heard Jungkook say. "Stop putting your pride over your feelings, we can talk this out."

"I'm about to go home." Jackson slurred to her.
"Yeah, let go." Kiasia said as she kept walking leaving Jungkook to watch them.
"Kiasia, I'm so drunk." Jackson groaned holding his head.
"I can tell." She laughed at him as she hailed a taxi and helped Jackson into the back and got in beside him.

"Jackson where do you live?" Kiasia asked him.
"(Jackson's address)" He said to her.
"Can you take us there?" She asked the taxi driver.
"Sure." He said before driving them in front of what looks to be the building Taehyung stayed in.

"This where you live?" Kiasia asked Jackson noticing it was the same building Tae stayed in.
"Yeah." He said stumbling out of the taxi towards his building.  Kiasia then paid the taxi driver and got out behind Jackson to make sure he actually gets in his house.

She hurried to catch up to Jackson in the elevator before it closed. As they stood in the elevator Jackson just kept staring at her.

"You know I used to have the biggest crush on you when you lived in China." Jackson told her.
"Really?" Kiasia asked him surprised. "Never thought you were attracted to girls like me."
"Why would you think that?" He laughed.
"Because of my skin color." Kiasia told him pointing at her arm. "You know how popular having light skin was back then and all your girlfriends were light."
"What? You know you're an idiot." Jackson said thumping her in the forehead. "There's only light girls that live in China. I actually prefer your skin type, but you know it's whatever."

"Shut up." Kiasia laughed. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because I thought you didn't like asian guys." He laughed nervously. "Which my reason made more sense because you didn't date any."
"I didn't date any guys." Kiasia said to him.
"Those were the days. You know I got really sad when you left." Jackson said, then the elevator door opened and as he walked out he fell straight on the floor.

"Jackson!" Kiasia said running over to him.
"I tripped." He smiled up at her.
"On what? Air?" She asked him laughing then helped  him up, then walked to his door. She waited for a while for him as he  looked for his keys. Getting tired Kiasia turned his knob and found it was open.

"You didn't even lock your door." Kiasia said to him.
"Oh, I guess I didn't." Jackson said then she helped him into his house and on his couch. "Thanks."
"You're welcome." Kiasia said to get up to walk away, but Jackson grabs her arms.
"Don't Leave right now." Jackson says to her.

"Okay." Kiasia sighed sitting beside him then he laid his head on her lap.
"I missed doing this with you." Jackson whispered.
"Yeah, me too." Kiasia said running her fingers through his hair.
