Akali saw the building in the distance.
What once was the old classrooms and school office turned into the club area when the staff approved the idea, it was better than demolishing the building and some of the teachers still hold some nostalgia for the old classes. With a little coat of paint and cleaning, the students achieved saving both the building and their mental health. Some of them didn't even has a hobby at the time but given that the clubs also offered credits for attendance the amount of people the campus therapist was receiving each week decreased.Or that's what Ahri told her anyway, she wasn't around when that happened but the proud smile of her friend every time she told the story seemed convincing. Although if it was for her, she would have chosen a bigger room.
The room that the singing club was currently using was a very small one, even smaller than the other classrooms. It was some kind of office or storage before, hence the little space. It was obvious at first glance, the room wasn't meant to be used by the amount of people the club had.
'This will do for now Kali, there are other clubs that need the bigger rooms more than us '. She remembered her friend said.
Although the acustic was great, the amount of people joining each month lead the small space to be overcrowded and, in warmer seasons, overheated. Which is why she and some other members requested the leader to look out for a more suites space.
As she turned off the engine and took of her helmet off Akali remembered the first time she entered that building.
"Not so good times" She said to herself as she remembered.
For a rouge ninja, exiled from her clan and sent to that school as punishment the thought of a hobby didn't tickled her fancy at the time.
Raised as a warrior she was not used to the amount of freedom she had and even though she was enjoying it, she found herself very bored from time to time. That's why when she heard about a building meant for extra curricular activities which also earned you credits she wanted to give it a try. Maybe out of curiosity of pure boredom but that morning she was specifically eager to get out of bed, something very very VERY unusual from her.
She roamed around the halls for a while, the place was similar to the usual classrooms back at the main building but the amount of murals, decorations, posters and paintings the students spent hours on gave the place a more cheerful vibe. Not a "You're here to become someone in life" and all that bs, but a more calm, artistic vibe that she really liked.
Walking around and peeking into the rooms she was amazed by the amount of activities that the building had to offer.
Gardening, theater, dancing, photography, even urban art which she was convinced that she'll end dragging herself to the class after finishing her little tour.
But something or rather someone changed her mind that day.A blonde vastaya that was standing outside a small room that, if the neon colored poster pointing out the room as the Singing club, she'll had confused it with a storage of some kind.
Somehow the cheerful girl handling flyers seemed hypnotizing to her, and before she could realize her legs were already moving towards the vastaya.
"Ummm Hello?" She initiated the conversation awkwardly
"Hello there!" She replied cheerfully.
"Would you like to know about our little singing club here at campus?"
Ahri said while handling her a flyer"We may be few but we are a very welcoming community" She looked at the rouge from head to toe, trying to figure out if the person standing in front of her could be a potential new member.
