"Now what?"

Akali asked the male standing next to her, hoping he'll have some kind of idea or alternative solution to the problem in front of them.

Store was closed, something they should've anticipated since the school year hasn't started yet and the staff at campus worked only part time.

The Campus itself was more of a small city, providing the students with multiple recreational areas and services such as the convince store in front of them, all in hope that the students wouldn't go out of campus for something so trivial as food or hygiene products.

Leaving campus itself was a complicated process. You are requested to maintain certain grades and good behavior all year just to be able to apply for a special permit that lets you leave campus if you reserve a date and hour within a range of 3 weeks prior to your leave, the visit to the outside can't last longer than 12 hours and you're not allowed to bring any kind of objects to the school.

All of that combined with the multiple strict norms the school had made most of the students not even bother getting a permission to the outside, and since the school dismisses the students every 6 months, given that they have a legal guardian to account for their staying outside the school,  the thought of getting a permission is not worth the effort.

"What a pain in the ass..." (Y/n) replied
"Well no point on crying over spilled milk" He said looking at the golden bracelet on his wrist.

"Why don't you lead the way to your friend's place and I can deliver what their stuff? I can get me and Gwen something later"

"But how'd you get something? It's already getting late and..." Akali thought of her response for a moment
"How about I treat you and your girl something? I have some pizza left in my dorm from yesterday" She offered to the male

"It's not necessary don't worry, I'm more worried about Gwen complaining about how long it took me to deliver something so simple. And she's also not my girl I already told you" He replied with a serious gaze.

"Right right. But I was the one who suggested ramen, I'll feel guilty if I make you come all the way here and go back with an empty stomach"

"I'll survive" He said chuckling

"Well yeah, but I won't forgive myself if the first impression you get of me is someone that let's let's you go with an empty stomach. I'm not that insensitive "

"I mean after experiencing how you drive..." (Y/n) replied rolling his eyes

"Not my fault you're such a puss, but that's not the point "

"Look we can go and leave my friends stuff and I'll treat you a bite. We're roommates after all, so you don't need to go back and forth between buildings and floors"

"Heh. Nice rhyme" He said with a smug face

"Well that does sound pretty convenient, and you did made me loose time for nothing so I guess I'll accept your offer "

"It wasn't for nothing!" Akali replied defending herself
"You met my cool friend and gave you time to know me, that's plus two friends in one day"

"Hmm? We barely know each other but sure, let's roll with it "

"Doesn't matter, also my place is up the street so we kinda need to walk all the way back to where I parked my bike" She said smiling nervously
