TW: Kidnapping, torture, rape, beatings

------

Nightmare looked over his kingdom, his head held high as he watched the people of his kingdom living their lives below him. He watched each person particularly and attempted to discern their every move and motion. Unfortunately his paranoia had only gotten worse throughout the last few months. Every kingdom that fell, every one of his allies overrun by their own subjects, and for every kingdom taken by its once peaceful subjects his anxiety only worsened. It started to worry those around him. He was always anxious about the safety of the people he loves, but it was only getting worse recently.

Ink walked up behind him and his cold hands found their way around his chest. Nightmare looked down, making a small noise of amusement that when he wrapped his arms around him they were almost a whole foot away from touching each other. He forced a smile onto his face and turned around to face his small lover. Nightmare scooped him up in his arms and Ink was finally tall enough in his arms to wrap his arms around his neck. They pulled each other in for a loving kiss as Nightmare carried his King over to their bed where Killer was already sitting politely. Nightmare dropped Ink on the bed and fell onto it after him, lying down in between the two men.

"Are you alright Night?" Ink asked, laying down at his side even though Killer-with his heavy armour-remained sitting up.

"I am alright, are you two alright?" He asked instead.

"Well, we've been in here with you all week. We're kinda-" Killer started before being interrupted.

"Bored. We're really bored." Ink finished.

"Well I am sorry my Loves, but I must keep both of you safe for the time being." Nightmare apologised.

"You know we can take care of ourselves, right?" Ink asked. "Right Killer?"

"Yeah. We can." Killer agreed.

"I know you can my Loves, but I would feel much better if you remained here with me until this all blows over." Nightmare replied.

"Well, yeah sure. But we can't even go to the stables to see the horses, or to paint, or to the kitchen! I'm so boreeedd." Ink whined, leaning into his King.

"Well we can always bring your art supplies in here for the time being."

"What's even going on Nightmare?" Killer asked.

"Revolution. In other Kingdoms. I just want to make sure you two are safe. Just in case. Promise me you will stay safe, alright?"

"You know stuff like that will never happen here, right?" Ink said, nuzzling into the King's neck. "Your people love you. I don't think they'd ever revolt. They have good lives here."

"Yes, but those Kings and Queens were beloved by their people too. They were our allies. I would like to just be safe."

"For how long Nightmare?" Killer asked.

"As long as it takes for all this revolution to stop. Or to slow down at the very least."

"How long will that take?" Killer asked.

"I am not sure. But I will keep you safe as long as this is going on."

"You mean couped up in your room for the next few months." Ink murmured.

"Yes. If that is what it takes." Nightmare insisted.

"You're so boring..." Ink murmured, making Nightmare roll his eyes.

"I would rather be boring than have you two be dead."

"Ink, I do agree with him." Killer said. "We can deal with your boredom much easier then we can deal with one of us getting injured or killed."
