Oh god I can hear the Apriltello screaming at me right now. I.... Don't care.... What ANYONE says. I. Love. This. Ship. I kinda feel bad for shipping it in 2012 because of Apriltello but still. I will take this ship anyday over Apriltello.
In the 2012 show April and Leo has so many wholesome moments, epically in season 4. In Mutant Mayhem, not only is this one canon but it's literally Apriltello done right. Its not creepy or toxic. I mean Leo did try to steal Donnies phone to get April's phone number but that was a one time thing and tbh It was kinda funny. They also have great chemistry and crushing on April didn't become his entire personality.
For the anit-Apriltello shippers who haven't seen Mutant Mayhem I totally recommend you check it out once it comes out for you/once you get a chance to. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, it atleast find it better then Apriltello.
Overall, a very underrated rarepair that deserves more love.
Also this is my second OTP (Mutant Mayhem Aprilnardo atleast)
