Chapter 2: Reconnecting

Enid kissed her back with as much passion, sliding her tongue over Wednesday's lips, asking for permission. Wednesday opened her mouth welcoming her tongue...

Their bodies were pressed incredibly close. It was Enid's turn to guide Wednesday as they blindly went into the bedroom... They parted briefly to look into each other's eyes... "Is this...really happening? Asked Enid in a whisper. Wednesday, being a bit out of breath replied, "I... believe it is..." She held on to Enid's waist, suddenly very aware they were both very underdressed... "I...I have never..." Wednesday looked down, a pan of shyness hitting her... "You've never...had sex?" Enid asked, hiding her surprise, lifting Wednesday's chin and trying her best to help her express her emotions...

Wednesday locked eyes with Enid once more, "I have never... trusted anyone enough to get this close...anyone but...you..." 

Enid teared up a bit, small puddles forming under her eyes, "Wends...I...didn't know...I'm honored you trust me this much; we can stop if you want...I would never do anything to hurt you, you do know that right?"

"I know Enid, I would trust you with my life...That is why...I want this to be with you..." Wednesday replied, pecking her lips softly, "I...do not wish to stop..." Her eyes were glowing with so much love and a hint of something else Enid couldn't place... She loved the way Wednesday was looking at her right now.

Enid looked back at Wednesday with just as much love, as she had waited for this to happen for literal years, yet she felt they needed to talk first... "Willa...I..."

Wednesday tilled her head, "Is everything alright, cariño?" She questioned with worry in her eyes.

"Y...yes...everything is fine...I...just don't want to rush things..." Enid said shyly.

Wednesday backed up the slightest, "You are right, I am sorry Enid, my intention was not to rush things with you...I have dreamed about the time you and I...expressed our feelings for each other..." Wednesday confessed solemnly.

"You say the sappiest things Willa...I'll be the one to confess first then...I've been in love with you since the day I laid eyes on you that first day you walked into our room at Nevermore...I just wasn't sure if you...were even into girls or if you even liked me back, so I kept quiet the whole time...waiting...for you...to make a move..." she said bearing her heart out.

Wednesday started at her quizzically, "I wish you had said something before..." She gave her a soft smile, "I am, what mainstream would call, a Demisexual...I had not felt any physical attraction or desire until I met you...after all those years being your roommate... Unfortunately, I had not noticed until we were both on our own, doing our own things..." she said with a sad smile as she stepped closer once more, "I did not think I would feel that way with anyone ever again...and I was right..." She looked up, kissed Enid's cheek, and whispered in her ear, "And now you are here again and my mind and body are yelling for you to touch me..."

Enid froze, the sensation of Wednesday's lips near her ear, the soft puff of air she let out...and her words...what she said made Enid shake to her core... "I...Wends...If we're being honest...I'm...not that much experienced either..." Wednesday stared at her questioningly. "...I've only had sex with an ex...but...never with a woman...to tell you the truth...it didn't feel like it was my thing...with a guy I mean..." It was Enid's turn to duck her head and blush... "I... I've always wondered what it would be like to be with someone you actually desire..."
