September 2021

I never really believed that I was meant to be in love. It always felt like love was meant to find other people but never find me. That was something I just grew to believe.

All until I met him, and he changed my life forever. He changed the outlook that I had on love and made me feel like I was constantly on cloud nine.

That was all until September 2021. The day I thought we were stronger than ever. The day I thought we would never break up, but I guess i was wrong.

The sun was shining brightly through my curtains, so I got up early and got some work done before hopping into the shower and getting ready for our date before he had to leave the next morning.

I put on a satin silk dress that stopped around my thighs, black heels, and a black handbag. I put on a natural look when doing my makeup and got ready for my dinner date with Oscar.

I heard the doorbell ring and opened the door to see Oscar in a royal blue suit and a white dress shirt. Seeing him made you smile so much cause I just enjoyed being in his presence.

" You look beautiful"

I smiled at him and then responded with "thank you"

I left my apartment and headed for my date. The night seemed to feel like it was never going to end from all the lights to the atmosphere of comfort that the restaurant brought that just made me feel like we were in a movie.

But like a movie, he was gone, and we were back to baing long distance. This time, it felt harder to stay together. With both of our busy schedules, we barely got any time to make time for each other.

It got worse over the next few weeks, and we weren't even talking for weeks on end. All until Oscar called, and that was the end of our relationship. We both agreed that it wasn't working even after trying to fight for it to work.

But I guess the starts just didn't align...
