Chapter 16:Nightmare

sorry for not updating for so
long. things have been kinda hectic.

Gabriel's Pov:
Juliette thought that it was a great idea to skip school today. With Blake Grant of all people.

I don't have a problem with him,but he's just a bad kid. I don't want him to influence her.Not that I care ,but if my sister was known as someone who causes trouble,it would harm my reputation and that would be terrible.

Shrugging off my thoughts ,I go ahead and join everybody else at the dinner table.

Leonardo made dinner tonight.I love when he makes the dinner,because he makes food just like dad used to make it.

He made my favourite too. Gazpacho.

As soon as he set down the plates everyone immediately started inhaling the food. Everyone except Juliette.

She stares at the food with so much disgust. I swear I almost see tears welling in her eyes. She looks like she's having an internal battle.

"If you don't like the food you could've just said so,but now instead of just telling us ,your facial expression just looks like you smelt some shit.", I spit at her ,venom seeping from my mouth.

"Oh ,no I love it,I'm just really full,had a big lunch y'know?",she says hiding her face from all the stares.

I don't remember her having lunch.

"Mhhm if you say so."

We continue eating in a comfortable silence.Matteo attempts to lift everyones moods by making jokes that are so unfunny that it's almost funny.

After we finished eating I watched some random movie in my room which I eventually got bored of.I decided to go get some water.

As I'm walking in the hallway I walk past everyones room.

I suddenly stop when I hear someone whimpering.

It's coming from Juliettes room.

I barge in to her room and turn on the light just to find her asleep,but I can tell by her face that's somethings wrong.

She whispers some words in a langue I don't know. I'll assume it's french,considering the fact that she grew up in Paris.

"S'il te plaît, arrête ça, laisse-moi tranquille.",she mumbles.

Translation:Please stop it,leave me alone!

I don't know what's going on and I don't know what to do.

I stand there frozen in shock ,until she starts shouting those same words over and over again.

I did the thing that seemed most logical and the time and went and got Julian.

"Yo Julian!",I shout and barge in to his room.
"What the fuck do you want?",he growls annoyed.

"It's Juliette."I say and his whole expression changes."What is it,is there something wrong?",he says tone laced with concern. "Yeah she's having a nightmare,and it seems pretty damn horrifying because she's shouting and crying.",I say scratching my head.
