I stand at my locker putting my books away and grabbing the ones i need for first period. "Morning" "morn- what's with the doll?" "I got it at a garage sale, I was gonna use it for one of my projects but it turns out it's worth quite a lot so I'm gonna sell him so I can go to camp." Jake says. "Oh nice, why'd you bring it to school though?" "I don't want anything to happen to it." "Anyways, how's your project coming along?" "It's going pretty well, I only have a few more-" "Y/n, Jake! Hi! Funny seeing you here." "We go here, remember?" I roll my eyes. "Cute doll, please tell me you're not gonna rip this little guy up for one of your projects." Lexy says. I roll my eyes and shut my locker. "Oh no, I'm gonna sell it actually." "Oh, I didn't realize it was getting that bad..." "What? No-" "hey Y/n." Junior smiles. "Hi." "I mean you have to sell your stuff now? Oh, that's just horrible." This bitch. "No that's not why-" The bell rings and i grab Jake's hand and pull him to class. "God, I can't stand her." I say.

(Juniors pov)

There she is, she looks so pretty today. "Hey y/n." I smile. "Hi." She turns back to Jake and lexy. Wow...she barely acknowledged I was there. The bell rings and Y/n grabs Jake's hand and pulls him away. "Was that really necessary?" I ask. "No, but it was fun." Lexy smiles. To be honest I've never really cared for Lexy, i always seen her as more of a friend. But then she asked me to be her date to some party in the beginning of the school year and I figured that instead of waiting for someone who barely knows I exist I should just try to move on. So we started dating, but I kind of feel bad sometimes. I mean here I am dating her but thinking about someone else. We sit in our usual seats in science, Y/n sits next to Jake as usual. Ms. Fairchild isn't in class yet so we all mess around while we wait. Oliver grabs his stool and sets it next to Y/n. I couldn't help but stare at them the whole time. Ms. Fairchild comes in and Oliver goes back to his spot behind her.

(Your pov)

Ms.fairchild sets a dead frog in front of us all and gives us careful instructions on what to do. Jake looks at the frog then the scalpel and then at me. "Sure, make the animal lover do it." I say. I grab the scalpel and pick it up. "I'm sorry froggy, you don't deserve this." I carefully cut open its stomach. Jake gags and looks away. Suddenly everyone's phone dings and then everyone starts laughing. I unlock my phone and open a message Lexy sent to the class. It was a gofundme for Jake. What a bitch. I look back and glare at her. I look back at Jake who looked just as angry as i did. I grab his hand. "Just ignore it, she needs to get a life of her own instead of spending all her free time ruining other people's." As we pack up our things to leave class Oliver trips Jake and throws a Quarter at him. "There, I'm sure that'll help pay for your next meal." He laughs. I help Jake up and glare at Oliver. "Oliver get the hell out of here!" Ms. Fairchild says. "I'll catch up with you later, alright? I have a boyfriend to scold." I say to jake before running after Oliver. "What the hell was that?!" Oliver laughs. "It was just a joke babe, relax." I scoff. "Last I checked jokes are supposed to be funny, not hurtful. I cross my arms and glare at him. Oliver sighs. "I'm sorry, alright?" Oliver says. "Apologize to Jake, not me." I walk away and Oliver follows after me. "Y/n- Y/n wait!" He yells trying to catch up to me.
