Chapter 4: Tense Relationships

"Matthew?" Titan asked as he knocked on his dorm door, with Ashton, Ivan, Roland, Hayden, and the rest of the group behind him. Shuffling was then heard on the other side of the door, then the door opened. "Hey Titan," said Matthew as he looked up at him, wearing nothing but his underwear, "I know what you all are here for." He then began to sob softly as he buried his face in a hand. He then apologized for crying, but Titan knelt down and wrapped his arms around him in a tight embrace. "Shh, don't apologize," he said in a calm voice, "I get that you're somewhat attracted to me, and there's nothing wrong with that, but please, don't slap my butt like that." Matthew nodded in understanding as he held onto Titan and slowly stopped crying, being comforted by the large Jaguar's embrace. He nodded his head, and then as Titan let go of him, he apologized for the sexual gesture, to which Titan just ruffled his hair and smiled. "Here, how about we do this instead?" he asked, followed by him standing up and bumping Matthew's butt with his. Titan then held out his hand for Matthew to take it. Matthew looked at it, before taking it and standing up. Titan smiled at him, and then the two of them walked out of the room, hand in hand. Titan then told everyone to head to their dorms for the night as he and Matthew walked to the elevator but allowed Matthew to stay up a bit longer. As the two of them got into the elevator, Titan squeezed Matthew's hand and smiled, letting him know that his feelings were reciprocated to an extent. They shared a brief but meaningful moment before they reached the lobby. Matthew gave Titan a small kiss on the cheek as the elevator doors opened and they walked to the lounge area to sit down. Titan held Matthew close as they sat down on the couch together, his large and muscular physique calming Matthew down and making him feel protected. By this point, the dorm building, as well as the entire campus, had gone completely silent and dark for the night, so Titan stood up and told Matthew to go up to his dorm to get ready for bed. Matthew agreed and smiled as he stood up and headed for the back elevator. However, he and Titan shared another loving hug just before he did so, and Titan just watched Matthew with stardom as he disappeared into the back hallway toward the elevator. Upon arriving on his floor, he saw Ivan sitting in the hallway on his phone. Matthew walked over to him and gave him a hug, along with saying goodnight. "Actually, Matthew," Ivan replied as he stood up., "I've been waiting for you."

Matthew just looked at him confused. "Why?" he asked as he crossed his arms. Ivan smiled and motioned for Matthew to follow him. "I have a surprise for you," he said. "Come on, let's go." They walked into Ivan's dorm, with Matthew shutting the door behind him. "Wow, this is very nice," he said with a smile as he looked around the room, which was adorned with many decorations, posters, and various photographs. "Heh, thanks," Ivan replied as he took off his shirt and threw it on the floor in front of the attached walk-in closet. "I know it's only been a couple of days, but I've gotten really into the merchandise that the school store has been selling, and I must admit, I did splurge a little bit." He then took off his pants and threw them on the floor where he had thrown his shirt. He opened the closet door and put the new clothes away before turning around to survey the mess on the floor. He sighed and shook his head before getting down on his hands and knees to start tidying up. "So, why did you invite me into your dorn?" Matthew asked as he bent down to help Ivan clean up his dorm. Ivan paused as he was squatting down with a pile of clothing in his arms, then looked at Matthew with stardom. "I think I just wanted someone to share this moment with," Ivan said with a smile. He got back to work, and Matthew soon joined him, both of them tidying up the mess until the room was spotless. Ivan then smiled as he took off his underwear, which exposed his entire naked body to Matthew, who couldn't help but stare at the large and muscular bear in all his glory. Matthew then quickly pulled out his phone and texted his dormmates to tell them that he was staying in Ivan's dorm for the night, then asked Ivan which bunk he could sleep in since Ivan lived in his dorm alone. Ivan gestured to the empty upper bunk, and Matthew smiled and thanked him before climbing up. Ivan then proceeded to turn off the light and lay in his lower bunk, and soon both of them fell into a deep sleep.
