(Quackity and Wilbur are not married or dating in this chapter, but Quackity still has a little crush.)
(Third Person)
Quackity was taking a little stroll in his free time. He looked at all of the nature around him as he saw a few birds fly away from a nearby tree. As he was walking he saw someone sitting on the bench nearby.
As he glanced in the direction he saw Tallulah quietly sitting as her legs dangled back and forth. She mindlessly looked down counting the times her legs swung.
"Hey, Tallulah! Are you okay?" Quackity walked over to the bench and sat down next to her, "I saw you sitting alone over here, is everything fine?"
Tallulah looked up a bit startled by the sudden break of silence. She wasn't sure how to answer the question, she thought momentarily as she looked over at Quackity.
"...not really..." Tallulah looked back down as her legs stopped swinging.
"Oh? What's wrong?" Quackity sounded concerned as he sat up a bit.
"Well... I don't know what to do anymore..." She began, still looking at the ground, "I miss him... but... I don't know if he's coming back... what if... he doesn't love me anymore..." Her head turned to look at Quackity, "Did I do something wrong?"
Quackity stared at Tallulah with a sad look, "No of course not Tallulah, you're absolutely perfect in your own way Wilbur is just... a very very busy man..." Quackity hesitated before giving Tallulah a small hug.
"Are you sure..."
"100%. I have no doubt in my mind about it," Quackity gave a weak smile, "He'll be back soon."
"Soon? How long is soon? I was told he'd be here soon a month ago and a few weeks before that," She looked at Quackity hopelessly, "How much longer until soon becomes a reality?"
"..." Quackity was unsure what to say, "I don't know..." Quackity looked away as he also became a little hopeless.
"You miss him too, don't you?" His eyes glistened as she asked, "You care about him a lot as well."
Quackity still looked off into the horizon not giving Tallulah an answer, he missed Wilbur a lot, he cared about him so much that he could even use the word love but, he would never tell anyone that.
"Ya... I miss him too..." Quackity eventually brought himself to say as an unexpected tear dripped from his eye.
"Tio Quackity, you're... crying..." Tallulah said shocked.
Quackity turned his head quickly and wiped his tear, "Tallulah, do you want to get some ice cream with me? I think we both need it right now."
"I'd like that."
"Then let's go Tallulah," Quackity stood up and held out his hand for Tallulah.
Tallulah looked at him for a moment as he gave a sad smile. She eventually took his hand and they started walking together through the park. They had only walked for a few moments before finding an ice cream truck. They walked up to it and looked at the menu.
"What do you want Tallulah?" Quackity said while looking over the menu himself.
"Uhm... I want chocolate," She said still holding onto his hand.
"Good choice!" He walked up to the man in the truck, "Hello, we would like two scoops of chocolate on a cone and two scoops of cookie dough on a cone, thank you."
The man nodded and soon came out with both icecreams, "That will be $4.27."
Quackity handed the ice cream to Tallulah while he grabbed his wallet and paid. Once he did Tallulah handing him his ice cream and they were back to walking.
"Is your ice cream good Tallulah?" Quackity smiled.
"Mhmm!" Tallulah smiled with ice cream in her mouth.
Quackity chuckled as he noticed the mess Tallulah made, "Tallulah darling, you have chocolate on your face," He said not noticing he used the term darling.
Quackity kneeled down and wiped Tallulah's face with the sleeve of his jacket.
"There we go."
"Thank you!" Tallulah giggled.
Quackity smiled as they soon found themselves at the same bench that they sat at before. They sat back down as they both finished their ice cream.
"Tallulah, I'm gonna tell you something but you have to promise not to tell anyone, okay?"
"Okay, I promise," Tallulah nodded sticking her pinky out, "Pinky promise."
"Yes, pinky promise," The locked pinkies and shook on it, "Tallulah, your dad means a lot to me... and if had to use a word to describe it I would have to say I love Wilbur..." Quackity looked back at Tallulah, "I've loved your dad for a long time but, it's hard for me to say things like this so when he left I didn't know what to do with myself. After the first couple of weeks passed, man, I felt pathetic that this single man was making me want to quit everything but then, I tried looking towards the good parts of life and the things I have now."
"Quackity..."
"So I just want to let you know, you're not alone Tallulah. I'll always be right by your side whenever you need me."
"Quackity, thank you for telling me this. It really means a lot to me." Tallulah hugged Quackity.
"No problem kid," Quackity hugged her back, "Though, can we keep everything that happened today between you and me?"
"Absolutely, not a single soul will know about this day." They smiled at each other.
The sun had begun setting and now Quackity had told someone the one thing he promised to tell nobody.
(Oh. My. Lord. I literally don't remember the last time I updated on here. I'm so sorry!!😭 This chapter along with one other has been half-written for what feels like months!!
I'm so behind on my writing that this chapter, and the other one, might be outdated lore-wise.💀)
(Okay, now a little something about the chapter. I feel like Quackity is afraid of love, he seems like the person to detach himself from others because he's afraid that he will mess up or that he'll lose them in the long run. This is talking about QSMP quackity obviously, not him in real life.)
