I am truly happy!

I got better and better and when I was finally out of bed, Callisto brought me to the rosen garden for me to enjoy and relax. Who would have thought that one day he would be this relaxed around me and wasn't questioning me at all. It felt a bit weird but oh well it was definitely something else and I was enjoying all the time I could get with him. He was soo sweet when it came to taking care about me.

Callisto: Penelope, I would like to bring you out of the castle.

Me: Sounds nice where do you want to go?

Callisto: There is a festival held for the lower class. It is mostly fun and also very nice. I thought you might enjoy that.

Me: I would love that very much.

Callisto: Great, I will make some preparations then.

Me: Thanks.

Callisto: Anything else you want?

Me: I am happy as is and youshould know it.

Callisto: I do.... 

Me: Is there something on your mind?

Something about him felt a bit different today and it was definitely not just me who noticed it. He looked a bit on edge and he also seemed to want to tell me something but didn't know how too. Was it something this big and dangerous or was he trying to protect me.

Callisto: Your family was contacting me earlier.

Me: Oh...

No wonder he looked like that. Of course he would be trying to avoid that topic for sure. However there is no getting away from it for sure. They were my family and they could do who knows what.

Me: Are they making problems?

Callisto: They are pestering me for the last couple of days....

Me: *sigh* Can't they let go...

Callisto: I tried to talk and argue with them but the duke insist that he wants to see you.

Me: Oh... okay.

Callisto: If you don't want to go, I will find a way out of this.

As we were talking about this, a servant came over with a letter for Callisto. He took it and opened as well as read it but in an instant he was throwing and I also recognized the Eckharts symbol on the envelope.

Me: What does my family want?

Callisto: To see you.

Me: Can I see the letter?

Callisto: Sure but it's not really nice.

Me: Thanks.

He did gave me the letter and when I started reading it, for some reasons I really wanted to actually rip it appart and then burn it down. They were threatening Callisto with pretty much everything they can to get me back and there was me who wanted to escape that damn house soo badly.

Me: HOW COULD THEY!

I jumped out of the seat when I read that and I think one could see how angry I was. Callisto came over to my side and hugged me as well as gave me a kiss. Thought the best thing he did was crushing this paper and throw it to the servant. I knew what that meant but that could end up bad for him.

Me: Let's visit them.

Callisto: You hate them.

Me: I know but I don't want them to actually hurt you.

Callisto: As if they could.

Me: Better safe than sorry and they could back you up.

Callisto: That would be good but I highly doubt that.

Me: I know but better than them joining your half brother.

Callisto: Indeed.

Me: *sigh*

Callisto: Penelope, you don't have to go for my sake.

Me: No, no... this is something I have to do.

Callisto: Alright. I will be by your side the whole time.

Me: Thank you.

We did talk about the hunting event but in the end we both decided to actually think about the here and now. First be first, I had to solve that problem with my family and next up was everything else. His mother was still a danger to us and I wasn't sure if anyone knew about what she did. I mean I knew that she poisoned me because I kinda did provoke her. Nonetheless this was definitelly not something an ordenery girl like myself should deal with. Well fuck being ordinary. 

I mean I never was to begin with! Ever after I got into Penelopes body I could see the likability.... wait! That reminded me, I was completly ignoring it for such a long time that I didn't even check Callisto's.

It was a thought that suddenly crossed my mind and in that moment I tried to look at his but it was locked.

Maybe this was for the better....

At least I know he likes me.

Yeah... this is good.... I don't even want to see it!

My faith is better this way.
