Ch. 4 - We need to find Brooke fast

Past Sensei Garmadon's P.O.V

I was in my office after a letter came saying that I had a guest looking for me. The doors opened to a young man, with black long hair that goes past his shoulders in a low ponytail and black eyes and was wearing casual clothes.

"Hi," The young man said, probalay not knowing what to say.

"Hello, Who may you be?" I asked, as he sat down in front of me.

"I'm Brooke Spark and I'm from the future," He replied, making me look at him in disbelief. How could he be from the future? And how did he get here?

"How can I trust that... Tell me something about me that I haven't told the Ninja," I asked looking at 'Brooke Spark' with a death glare.

"Okay, Assphera, uhhh, the Oni and then the Love Letter," WHAT!? How did he know all of this? I looked at Brooke Spark and tried to calm down. "What do you need help with?" I asked, picking up some papers that were on the floor to my right.

"I would like to stay here until I can get back home," He replied, as I nodded in response.

After a while I showed Brooke his room and walked back into my office typed room.

"What is someone from the future doing in the past?" I mumbled to myself thinking of answers.

"Garmadon?" Misako said, walking into my room.

"Yes?" I replied, standing up and walking to my wife.

"The Ninja are here and are trying to hide from a new enemy, they request your presence," She stated, looking at the floor. Although I have Brooke to deal with, I guess I could see how the Ninja are doing. "They are already waiting in your next class," Misako added, walking back out of the room.

After the lesson with the Ninja I decided to talk to Brooke to see if he wanted the Ninja's help or help the Ninja. I walked through the halls and stopped in front of Brooke's room.

"Dad!" Lloyd yelled, hugging me with a lot of force.

"Hey there son, what's gotten into you?" I asked, with a bit of a laugh. Lloyd stopped hugging me and looked at the door I was about to open.

"Who's in there?" Lloyd asked, looking at me.

"A guest that I'm going to check up on... Do you want to come with me?" I asked, watching as Lloyd nodded his head and then Lloyd burst open the door to see Brooke looking at Lloyd with a lot of cake in his mouth. Leaving me and Lloyd in shock.

It's been a few minutes, but Brooke finished his cake and Lloyd sat down next to me while I was standing.

"So Brooke? How long have you been here for?" My son asked, looking at Brooke sceptically.

"Well I've been in this room for a few hours," Brooke replied, although he is doing a terrible job of not laughing.

"I mean how long have you been in Ninjago?" Lloyd asked, correcting the question he asked before.

"Uhhhh, maybe over eight hours and I've spent like seven and a half hours here," He replied, still trying to hold the laugh in.

"What's so funny?" I asked, watching as Lloyd looked at me confused.

"It- It's just that his voice is so high-pitched!" Brooke said as he started laughing, leaving me and Lloyd confused.

"Whaa-"

"I'm from the future," Brooke said with a few giggles after interrupting Lloyd.

"WHATTT!!?" Lloyd screamed in either amazement or disbelief. "You- You're the guy that the others were talking about," Lloyd said, pointing at Brooke, still in shock but a bit more amazement.

"Yeah I guess so," Brooke replied, probably not thinking much as he was just looking at the ground with a few giggles before responding to my son. To be honest I was silently giggling abit when Brooke commented on Lloyds voice.

"Dad?" Lloyd asked, looking at me in a bit of a serious tone in his voice.

"Yes son," I replied, looking at my son with abit of a small smile.

"The others updated me on the comms saying that we are going to be ambushed soon," Lloyd stated, hugging me.

"You know that I wish this could last till the time Morro was released,"

"Huh? Who's Morro?" Lloyd asked, breaking the hug. What is he talking about? What does he mean 'till the time Morro was released'?

"What do you mean when you said 'till the time Morro was released'?" I asked, watching as Brooke's face went into shock.

"I wasn't supposed to say that," Brooke whispered, but loud enough so I could hear. I wonder if Lloyd heard that? "I have to go," Brooke suddenly said as a staff appeared out of nowhere and opened a portal and left.

"Oni..." I managed to say, as I recognized the staff as one from the book. "He's a death-bringer," I added.

"What's a death-bringer?" LLoyd asked. Shoot I said that outloud.

"Nothing important," Lies, it's more than important.

"Okay, let's go to the others then," Lloyd stated, as I followed him through the halls. Why is there an Oni in the past? Do they take over Ninjago? We need to find Brooke fast.
