"Is that all? Are you really going to walk away, just like you always do?" My words echoed in the room, aimed at the man whose back was turned, his steps leading him toward the door.

"Then tell me, what exactly do you expect from me?" His voice boomed back, tinged with frustration.

"Fine, go ahead. Leave. But this time, don't even think about returning once you're out that door," I urged, my gaze locked onto his, unyielding.

"Don't worry. I have no intention of ever coming back," he declared, swinging the door open and striding out, the sound of its forceful closure hanging in the air.

As the door sealed his departure, a sudden realization washed over me. The space around me expanded, engulfing me in its emptiness. Collapsing onto the floor, my face buried in my hands, I let my tears flow freely. Each droplet was a reminder of the magnitude of what I had just done. The house felt cavernous, a haunting monument to my solitude.

In the quiet aftermath, I grappled with the weight of my actions. The sobs that wracked my body were a testament to the void his absence left behind. He had been my rock, a constant presence during life's storms, holding me close, reassuring me with his embrace, and whispering that everything would be alright.

And now, he was gone. All because I had driven him away. I remained on the cold floor, my tears an unending stream, a flood of emotion that matched the torrent of his absence.

"And that's a wrap! Fantastic job, everyone, and Aria, you were truly exceptional. That concludes our work for today," the director's voice reverberated, marking the completion of the scene.

My co-star for this show, Benjamin walked back towards me giving me his hand so that I could get up.

"Great job there," He complimented, giving me a smile.

"You too, we always make a great team," I complimented back, while he just patted my head and laughed.

Rising from the floor, I was met by Tina, my manager, making her way toward me.

"Wow, that was incredible," she praised, extending a bottle of water into my hand.

"Well, you know me, I put my heart into every scene," I responded with a grin.

Guiding me toward my designated makeup and changing room, Tina's words of appreciation were a comforting backdrop. Settling into the chair, I anticipated the touch of the makeup artist's skilled hands, ready to erase the artistry from my face.

"Your phone's been blowing up throughout the shoot today. Let me assist you with that," Tina commented, swiftly retrieving my phone.

"Don't—" I attempted to interject, hoping to stop her from answering any calls, but her actions were already a step ahead as she accepted the incoming call.

"You're going to be the death of me," I shot a glare her way, retrieving the phone from her grasp.

In the charged silence that followed, I held the phone in my hand, aware of the potential consequences that her innocent action might have brought upon me.
