Boxes and luggage filled with my belongings piled up inside his house

Boxes and luggage filled with my belongings piled up inside his house. Initially, I had expected him to live in a modest home, especially compared to my spacious bungalow. To my surprise, his house was nearly as sizable as mine, if not even more impressive.

Perhaps I had underestimated the income of doctors, or maybe his brother's involvement in a prominent company had contributed to his wealth.

"Your room is right here, next to mine," Rohan informed the movers, directing them to place my belongings in that room.

"Thank you," I replied and entered the room. Its interior was spacious, with a plush, inviting bed positioned in the center. If Rohan had a hand in designing this room, I had to admit it was quite tastefully done.

"I won't be home often, but feel free to make yourself at home," Rohan mentioned casually, his attention on his phone.

"Likewise, I have numerous upcoming shoots," I responded.

"Good, it seems we won't be crossing paths frequently," Rohan said.

"Hopefully, I won't see you at all," I muttered.

With that, we retreated to our respective rooms to get some much-needed rest.

As the days passed, it became evident that Rohan had been accurate in his assessment. I seemed to step into his house more often than he did.

Are doctors even busier than actresses? I couldn't help but wonder. I was reluctant to admit it, but living here still felt like I was living alone, albeit in an unfamiliar place. I continued to eat my meals by myself, greeted by an empty house, and it hardly felt different from my old life. Our interactions were scarce at best.

I let out a weary sigh as I entered my room, utterly exhausted from today's shoot. Before drifting off, I faintly heard the front door open, indicating that it was likely Rohan.

I didn't wake up, knowing that the next three days would be filled with long shoots, and rest would be a luxury with the ongoing scandal involving Benjamin.

The following morning, I rose at four in the morning to prepare for my shoot, with Tina scheduled to drive me to the location. I moved quietly, not wanting to disturb Rohan. Despite our strained relationship, I still wished him a peaceful rest.

"Alright, Tina, let's go," I said.

"Aria, are you feeling better?" Benjamin inquired when I arrived at the shoot location.

"Yes, I apologize for the delay caused by my injuries," I replied.

"We'd rather have you well and shooting," he assured me.

"Alright, both of you, get ready," the director called out.

Due to my injuries, the shooting schedule had been postponed by a few weeks, and now we were rushing to complete most of the remaining scenes. We couldn't afford any more delays in airing the show, as it was highly anticipated by viewers.
