After that day, M/n slept more peacefully and so did the triplets. They loved the otter plushie just as much as M/n did and it made Neuvillette and Clorinde less worried now that they solved M/n's sleep walking temporarily... However that peace within the walls of the mansion was short lived when M/n got a letter from his father. The short male quickly dressed himself, brushed the kittens and placed bows on them and nearly throws Neuvillette office doors open.
"Tiddy up! Hurry, my father is on his way! He decided to pull an same day visit after sending out a letter!"

"Huh?"

"Stop working! Ugh Clorinde!! Make sure he's ready before I get downstairs!!" The woman appears without a sound as usual, giving M/n a light bow as he rushes out like a wild gust of wind.
"You heard him, his parents are on their way. As in their carriage is practically on the property as we speak. You should hurry down, and round up the kittens while you're heading there."Neuvellet sat there a bit confused but quickly stands up, he grabs Kunikazushi and tbe other two immediately follow him down to the main hall. During their time spent running through the hall of their new home, the three, more like Wanderer and Scaramouche began to warm up to the hydro dragon.

This made it easier for him to get them where M/n wanted them to gather.

Clorinde chuckles as she follows behind M/n after he grabbed what he had left to prepare, in all his hustle and bustle he had a miss step on his way down the stairs, a startled sound between fear and panic makes Neuvillette and the kittens turn around quickly as Clorinde attempts to grab M/n by the arm but she was a nearly two whole steps behind! Neuvillette jumps forward and up the stairs to catch his contract partner and with great success too but...there was also failure in the mix. The hydro dragon misjudged where his foot would land leading him to slip downward!

Just was the door opens the two land on the floor below the steps, a sight that M/n's mother covered the youngest eyes for.
"I knew you were in love but isn't this display a bit... much?"

"Uh..."M/n's entire face was beat red! He wanted to scream and hideaway in the depths of the sea he loved to dive in. Neuvillette wasn't embarrassed in the slightest, even when M/n was sitting on his waist, it didn't make it any better when the kittens jumped onto Neuvillette and start to play.

"Apologies for that, it was a merely misjudged step that we both took down the stairs."Now it was Neuvillette's turn to be embarrassed once he understood what it looked like to those walking into the mansion. Clorinde tries not to laugh at the embarrassed men as they spoke to the guest.
"M/n, show me and your younger sister around while your father speaks to your now fiancé."M/n mother spoke in a bored tone of voice as she stood from her seat. M/n didn't want to but the stern look on her beautifully aged face told him that there was something important to be discussed.

Neuvillette reaches over, gently holding M/n's hand.
"You should show them the green house, take Clorinde with you just in case you get lost. The mansion is quite spacious and one wrong turn and you'll get lost."Neuvillette gives M/n knuckles a kiss but not actually kissing it, placing his thumb in the way to make sure M/n was comfortable.

As the four leave, the head butler brings over more tea and snacks for the two. M/n's father didn't waste a second and began asking about money, especially what he lost after pulling back the first marriage proposal.
"So, how will you pay back the money owed?"

"I'm more than capable of repaying you for allowing our love to continue... However why is that such a focal point for you? Shouldn't you be happy your son is in love?"

"Pft, love isn't real... He'll learn soon enough."Neuvillette tries his hardest to not glare but the dark clouds outside quickly rolled in...
