Sᴛʀᴀɴɢᴇ ᴘᴇᴀʀʟs

Since Neuvillette was on a paid vacation, he thought it would be fun to stay in the beautiful countryside for a bit longer with M/n. The hydro dragon had never been on vacation until now and he wanted to enjoy it even more. M/n showed Neuvillette around with by far the largest smile he'd ever seen on the younger male's face.
"Ah! Here's the place I found some odd but really pretty pearl the day of the race!"M/n pulls Neuvillette over and searches to see if he can find another one, he goes as far as to dig in the sand, and to his luck, he finds one!
"AH! Look, look I found one!"M/n happy pulls out the pastel purple pearl and shows it off to Neuvillette with joy.
"You're telling me that you found one just like this three years ago?"

"Yeah, I never got the chance to take the first one because someone called my name. It startled me for a second but when I turned around Wriothesley was looking for me. I remembered the pearl feeling warm underneath my palm, unlike this one."M/n pulls the pearl from the sand. It was palm size but that's not what Neuvillette was concerned with, it was what M/n said that held his attention!
It was warm? Then it wasn't just any old pearl it must have been a Millennial Pearl Seahorse picking its owner...That's the only thing I can think of...What's not making sense is...Where's the stigma?
Neuvillette looks M/n over for a moment, not noticing anything at first until he catches a glimpse of M/n neck!

It was obvious why he must of over looked at the mark, it was on M/n neck and looked like a birthmark! Without meaning to, Neuvillette pokes the mark making it light up and startling M/n.
"What was that for?!"

"Huh?"

"Why did you just shock me?"M/n pouts a bit before he realizes what he said didn't make sense only because Neuvillette was a hydro user.
"I didn't, your beast did."

"My what?"Neuvillette explains what he meant and why the pearl he found was cold to the touch. During this explanation, much more of his life began to make sense!
"So I have a summons? Uh, how do I call it?"

"Give it a name."M/n found that a bit odd but he shrugged his shoulders and thought for a moment, holding the palm-sized pearl to his chest.
"A long time ago I had a poodle and I named him...Sauveur."Suddenly a portal opens and out jumps a majestic creature; The Millennial Pearl Seahorse! M/n lets out a startled yelp when it lands in front of them.
"Uh?!"The seahorse lies down next to M/n and snorts happily.
"I've been waiting for you to call upon me, welcome back to the past my darling tamer, I am sorry I couldn't help you before but now I will protect you."Sauveur nuzzles the still-shocked M/n but he eases into it and pets his summons.
"Thank you, Sauveur."

That night M/n and Neuvillette joined the locals for a party they were throwing and it was an experience for Neuvillette, the people danced, ate, and drank. The atmosphere was peaceful and friendly completely different from the city. The humans pulled him into dances and drinking games, no one caring that he was an important figure in their nation. Something Neuvillette always wanted, being close to the common folk.

Once the party starts to die down he finally drops near a drunk and napping M/n.
"Is he alright, Sauveur?"Sauveur now in a Bubbly Seahorse form, nods his head and wiggles in M/n's arms happily. Since M/n was his tamer only he could understand Sauveur words.
"I'll take that as a yes. Let's get to our hotel so he can rest better."Just as Neuvillette reaches to grab M/n a sound catches his and Sauveur's attention. Not far away was someone waving the chief justice down.
"Pst! Come here for a second."A bit confused Neuvillette heads over and is surprised to see a woman with her hood up.
"Yes?"

"Don't return to your hotel, grab your fiancé and follow me."
