Cʜᴀsɪɴɢ ᴡᴀᴠᴇs

After M/n took his bath, he was a bit occupied with his hair for the moment, beautiful ginger locks were down his back and wavy but he wanted to change that...He used to value his hair but with his past hanging over his shoulders, he wanted most of it gone. So he searches the bathroom until he finds a pair of scissors to chop his hair off.

Back in the sitting room, Neuvillette watched the cats interact with each other and as M/n said, Wanderer was the oldest and actively kept his brothers from doing anything they weren't supposed to do. Scaramouche of course caused a fuss and Kunikazushi listened.
"What strange cats they are...Mary, please prepare a large room for M/n and his kittens. They'll need all the room as they grow and also prepare a separate room for them to play in."

"Yes sir."The maid giggles as she hurries off to gather others to prepare the rooms. It was the first time the man took an interest in anything that wasn't work so she was more than happy to gather the forces to get to work.
"You three are quite strange, come here."Neuvillette kneels with a hand outstretched to them. The older two turned their noses up at the man while the youngest took a sniff.
"Seems like you're the friendlier brother and your eyes are a lighter shade of indigo."Neuvillette scratches Kunikazushi's chen before he runs off to be with his brothers.
"Most people don't notice that immediately."

"I'm very observant–What happened to your hair?"Neuvillette asked after he turned to face the shorter male. From the looks of it, a butler rushed to buy M/n something to wear for his stay.

"I needed a change of hairstyle...Took a bit longer since I chopped so much of it off, and I hear that this is a popular style nowadays."M/n walks down the stairs and kneels next to the triplet kittens, the clamor into his lap, mewling up at him.
"Hope I don't look too different from what you're used to~"

"You speak as if you're well beyond your years but yes, it's quite popular as of now. I've had two rooms prepared, one you'll share with your cats, and the other will be a playroom of sorts for them."M/n blinks for a moment while looking at Neuvillette then slowly thanks the man.
"No need to thank me, it's best we start now. I'm sure your father would want to visit soon, so we must make it seem that this has been a place you would sneak off to for extended periods."

"Good, besides being the only son of the family, they never paid attention to where I went for how long. They only paid attention when I started my diving career."M/n stands with all the triplets in his arms.
"If you don't mind me asking, where is your mother from?"

"Sumeru, but my grandfather is from Snezhnaya while my grandmother is from Sumeru. You probably asked that question because of my hair color, yes?"Neuvillette nods his head and then takes a step closer but a flash of uncertainty passes through M/n's eyes.
Neuvillette immediately stops moving, his own eyes wide from this shift in mood.
"Monsieur–"

"Uh remember no formalities."

"Yes, yes...Are you alright? I won't touch you if that makes you feel comfortable."Neuvillette inquires while placing his hands behind his back from his previous gesture, he was going to guide M/n to the dining room by hand but now that didn't seem to be a good idea anymore.
"You'd be surprised at what's hidden from the eyes of the nation...So I'm not sure."

"It won't be hidden for long, tell me and they will be sentenced. I agreed to protect you, so let me know."

"Thank you."Neuvillette turns away and heads off but stops to let M/n know to follow him.
