After school let out the next day, I decided to keep my promise and visit Yongguk. I stood in front of his door and before my finger reached the buzzer, the door already swung open.
"It's so lonely not having anyone to walk with to school oppa~" I stepped back when I saw Yongguk's neighbor standing in the doorway.
"I'm sure you're fine walking by yourself," Yongguk said to her.
"But I just miss you," the girl giggled. "I'll come visit you again tomorrow!"
"Please don't," Yongguk muttered.
"You're so funny oppa," the girl playfully poked his chest and then tiptoed to kiss him on the cheek.
"Yuna, I told you to stop doing tha--Jieun? Were you standing there the whole time?" Yongguk finally looked up and saw me standing not far from him.
I looked at the girl, who I now know is named Yuna, and she was glaring at me with her hands on her hips.
"I'll text you later tonight oppa," Yuna said in a cute voice that didn't match the evil look she had on her face. She purposely bumped me with her shoulder as she walked away.
"No, you don't have to!" Yongguk called out. Once she was gone, Yongguk turned to me with red face. "Soo how long were you standing there?"
"Ever since you opened the door, can I come in?"
[Yongguk's POV]
"Ever since you opened the door, can I come in?" Jieun said calmly. I stepped aside and let her pass.
"So you saw when she..."I pointed at my cheek, "Did that?"
"Yeah," She simply nodded her head and took a seat on the couch. I know Jieun doesn't get jealous easily, but I thought she would be a little upset when she saw Yuna kiss me on the cheek.
"You actually still have her lipstick on your cheek," Jieun grabbed a napkin and started wiping it across the side of my face.
"Just so you know, I didn't want her to kiss me," I felt like adding.
"Yeah I know, didn't you already say before that you thought she was kind of annoying?"
"She isn't just "kind of annoying" she's extremely annoying!"
Jieun laughed, "You must feel like a celebrity having so many girls fall for you."
To be honest, even though I find it very irritating the way Yuna and the other girls from school act around me, it would be nice if Jieun acted like that once in a while. To an extent at least. It would be nice if she showed some affection sometimes.
"But I have to say, I don't really like that Yuna girl," Jieun said bitterly. Hearing her say that so suddenly, made me sit on the edge of my seat. So did seeing Yuna do that actually make her feel jealous?
"Didn't you see that she purposely bumped into me? And she has this stare that's like really scary."
I slumped back in the chair, "So that's the only reason why you don't like her?"
"Yeah, she seems pretty mean to me for no reason."
"Well I know the reason. It's because she knows that I like you," I said, scooting closer to her on the couch.
Jieun pursed her lips and tucked her hair behind her ear. "That's why she's mean to me? But we're not even dating yet."
I raised my eyebrows, "So you're implying that we will be dating soon hmmm?"
"I didn't imply anything," Jieun quickly covered her mouth as if she spilled a really big secret. But I heard a small laugh escape from her mouth.
