"Venom, you need to find someone else. You're so caught on Anne.." Eddie groaned to the black goop on his shoulder.

"No! I refuse! I wasted my time with Anne, and I'm not doing it again." He growled at Eddie as the brown haired male groaned.

"Really?"

"YES"

With a sigh, Eddie gave up on trying to convince the black goop to move on. Yeah, he was his own person in a way, but it annoyed him on how caught up he was.

"Well, Y/N's supposed to come over and help me out with everything." Eddie said with a little bit of glee in his voice.

"Help? Why help?" Venom questioned, confused by the sudden mention of your name.

"She.. promised to help me tidy up the apartment?" He said just as confused. Didn't he tell him this?

"Hmph, okay."

"Before she gets here, though, we need to have a longer chat." Venom groans in response to hearing him say that.

"What." He growled at him.

"You need to get over Anne, she left us, okay? I understand you feel like you wasted your time, but there is someone out there who will be better..." Eddie repeated. He was tired of seeing Venom this low in his mood.

"I would never fall in love again until I found her." Venom growled out.

"Who?"

"Someone who won't waste my time."

"Hm.. you realize you did have that her at some point, right?"

"Not. Anne."

"NO! Venom, damn you, Y/N!"

"What?" Now Eddie threw him off, Venom looked at him from his shoulder with widened eyes.

"What do you mean." Venom said while glaring.

"You'll see."

Venom continued to roll his eyes before he saw you walk through the door.

"Hey guys!" You said cheerfully while closing the door.

Venom's glared at you before melting into Eddie's shoulder again.

You immediately took note of this and something in your gut sank.

"What.. did I do?" You questioned while changing glances to Eddie.

"He's.. being a little petty right now, ignore the parasite -"

"DON'T." Venom growled while covering his mouth before quickly looking at you.

You giggle and pat Venom. He was thrown off by this gesture as only Anne pat him, not you.

He let out a growl at you, for he didn't expect this.. yet you showed no fear and kept patting him, slowly stopping then scratching under his chin.

He let out another growl, but then it slowly turned into a purr, closing his eyes in the process. You giggled and kept going while he was purred before he opened his eyes and moved away quickly.

"No." He growled at her while seeping back into Eddie's shoulder. He didn't want to fall in love.

Eddie let out a chuckle and looked at you apologetically.

"Sorry, Y/N.. he doesn't want to give love a chance.." He muttered, sorrow in his tone.

You shrugged. "I don't like him like that, Eddie." You said in a sassy tone.

That was a lie. In fact, you loved Venom, but knowing he doesn't want to give love another chance after Anne? It hurt you. It felt like a knife went into your heart and cut a piece of it out.

You put a happy front on in front of Eddie and continued to help him tidy the apartment despite the sharp pain you felt in your heart.

A couple hours go by, and you started to forget about the pain in your heart, enjoying your time with Eddie as you guys talked about some random stuff.

Giggling, you pushed Eddie lightly as he pushed you back. Sooner or later, this caused you both to be rough-house, and you ended up on top of him with his arms pinned.

You both were laughing hysterically as you watched him get confused about how you won this.

That was until you realized the position you both were in. Your eyes widened as you quickly got off him and laughed nervously.

"S-Sorry about that.." You said with a bit of embarrassment..

"It's fine -" Eddie was gonna continue before getting cut off by a black goop forming on his shoulder.

Venom, who formed on his shoulder, was staring at you with wide eyes.

"Yes.. Venom?" You questioned, confused why he was just staring at you...

"Venom? Dude?" Eddie said with a confused tone, switching his glance from you to him.

Venom was staring at you for multiple reasons. Some he couldn't get out of his mouth...

He felt starstruck. He felt giddy, he felt weird emotions he couldn't explain.

"Venom..? You okay?" Eddie asked one more time.

'Eddie, I feel weird emotions. Help.' He said in Eddie's head.

Without a second thought, you see Venom take over Eddie before he could help him out and lick his teeth while staring at you.

"O-Oh.. Hi.. Venom.." You whimpered, a little nervous and on edge.

He stared at you more...

"You..." He said in surprise..

"Me...?"

"Yes.. you.." He smiled wider before reaching a hand out onto your cheek.

"I said I would never fall in love again until I found her.."

"W-Wha..."

"I.. found you.."
