In this, you've always been a hopeless romantic! Always falling in love with someone and always prioritizing them above you, causing you to slowly fall into abusive relationships.

Despite it all, you wanted to give love so many more chances! But, 3 people were stopping you, worried that you'll hurt yourself again.

Those three were Venom, Eddie, and Anne, who've been there since your last breakup.. they guarded you 24/7 and made sure that you wouldn't get hurt again since the last relationship ended you in the hospital for a week...

•°~With that said! Onto the story!~°•

You were hanging out with Eddie on a hot summer afternoon.

"Jesus.." You groaned as you fanned your face.

"You.. okay?" Eddie questioned in concern. He can tell that you were really hot but just didn't know how to help.

"It's.. It's really hot.." You panted out, still fanning your face.

"Yeah.. it is barely over 100 right now.. want some cold water?" He asked while standing up and walking towards his kitchen.

"Please," you politely said. You loved how caring Eddie was.. he was the best friend you never fully had.

A chuckle came from him as he walked back to you with a cup full of water, placing it in front of you and sitting back down.

"I have a question?"

"Hm?"

"If I actually let you, wanna give love another chance?" He asked in curiosity.

You froze, you gulped a big ball in your throat before you stuttered a solid, "No. Not after what happened last time."

He nodded, understanding why. He was caring, a lot more caring than other friends you've had that roamed your life.

You were shaking a bit.. a lot was going through your head as you say there, and debated decisions.

'Love sounds so nice.. if only you were actually smart about it, though,' you thought as you felt your eyes get heavy and you look up, eyes being blurred by tears.

"Y/N..." You heard Eddie say as he was visibly concerned.

Hearing heavy footsteps, you felt two arms wrap around you as you hugged back.

You noticed something different with the person you hugged. They seem bigger and harder to wrap your arms around. You look down to see that the arms weren't Eddie's... they were.. Venoms?

Your eyes widened in surprise and shock. Slowly, you began to panic slightly. Why was he hugging you? He never seemed like the hugging type nor the affectionate type.

"V-Venom?"

"No questions." He growled out.

Happiness soon consumed you as you hugged tighter, crying into the alien's shoulder, and your eyes tightened closed.

You felt relieved, like you could finally eat out the frustrations of not being able to love someone. It just sucks that they came out when you were doing so much fucking progress.

But hugging Venom made you notice something... you noticed how you felt different. You feel something inside.. but you couldn't identify what it was until you started comparing how you felt during those relationships you fell in love with.

Your eyes shot open, and you quickly let go of Venom.

"You ok..?" He questioned you, confused by the sudden reaction.
