Chapter 20: Amnesia

Ashton's POV
"Hello?"
The voice said I turned around and saw Riley and I couldn't help but run over to her and hug her.
"Riley!! Oh my gosh, I'm so happy your awake!"
She replied.
"Um who are you? And who is Riley? Is that me?"
"O-kay um I'm your husband Ashton you are Riley you fell and hit your head and I came back from tour to see you."
"I still don't know you.... I'm sorry"
She said as she frowned a few minutes away from tears. I ran over to her and wiped the tear that was already falling down her cheek.
"Hey, don't cry it's okay we will figure this out I promise let me go talk to the doctor I'll be right back okay."
She replied through sniffles.
"Okay."
I ran out to the hall way and the doctor was coming to check on her right when I headed out there.
"Hey um she doesn't remember anything!"
I said to the doctor in a hushed worried tone.
"That's normal for someone who hit their head that hard she will regain her memory in time as long as you work with her and help her remember things come on let's go inside."
We walked in and Riley was panicking.
"Am- am I pregnant?!"
I looked at the doctor and she nodded her head.
"Yes."
I said, she began to freak out even more.
"I don't even remember getting pregnant, hell I don't even remember my husband."
She started crying and I ran over and held her hand.
"Listen to me it will be okay, we are going to take you home and jog your memory with pictures ok?"
She smiled and said.
"Okay thanks Ashton, I-I'm sorry"
"Hey it's okay."
I smiled at her and wiped her tears and then helped her up to get dressed and leave that place. I couldn't help but think she was finally going home and she didn't even remember what home was.
