Chapter 36: "Could this be it?"

Michael's POV:
I walked into the hospital saying hi to Lindsey and walking past her down the hall to the elevator then walked to izzie's room I went in and I woke up Calum who was asleep in the chair on the other side of her hospital room then I woke up Luke who was asleep at izzie's side. I then turned to look at izzie to find that she has rolled over onto her side she's regaining consciousness! I went over to her grabbed her hand and called Ashton and Riley (who went home for some well deserved rest) and told them they should get here as fast as they could....
"Could this be it?"
I thought to myself,
"Could she finally be waking up?"

Riley's POV:
I woke up to a phone ringing I looked over at Ashton he was holding me in his sleep and I didn't want to wake him so I carefully picked up my phone and saw the phone call was from Mikey, I answered it in a raspy morning voice:
"Hey Michael how is she?"
"You guys need to get here fast she might be waking up she rolled over onto her side I'm going to get a doctor now!"
"Ok we will be right over! Bye mike"
"Ok, bye Riley"
I hung up the phone then I gently woke up ash and told him what Mikey just told me. He replied:
"Well what are we waiting for lets go!"
So he jumped out of bed and I followed close behind we both got ready and quickly (well as quickly as an almost 7 months pregnant woman can) went to the car. We drove to the hospital said hi to Lindsey and headed up to her room when we got there Mikey was talking to the doctor...

Michael's POV:
After I hung up the phone with Riley I ran out to the hall Luke and cal were jumping up and down with joy as I ran out to get a doctor. I saw Lindsey again and said:
"Hey, can you get a doctor for me I think izzie might be waking up!"
She smiled and said:
"Oh my gosh Michael that's great, yeah I'll definitely go get a doctor for you!"
I thanked her and went back into the room soon a doctor appeared he checked her vitals looked at some of her charts then came to talk to me:
"Well Mr. Clifford it looks as if Isabella has done a complete 180 at this point she might as well be sleeping and could wake up at any moment! Mr. Clifford this could very likely be a modern day miracle!"
He left and I stood there taking in all the information not realizing my jaw had dropped and just mentally thanking God over and over and that's when Lindsey (who i didn't even know was in here) said:
"Oh my gosh Michael that's fantastic!"
I looked at her smiled and just pulled her into a hug she was definitely not expecting that! But it felt right it felt like we were meant to be together and then I kissed her! I kissed her and she kissed me back I knew we clicked and it wasn't just me! I pulled away and she said:
"Wow!"
I smiled and that's when I noticed Riley, Ashton, Luke and Calum, who's jaws dropped at the sight of me and Lindsey kissing but they got over it and Riley immediately came over hugged me and whispered:
"you need to tell me all about that kiss later Michael Gordon Clifford!"
She pulled out of the hug and said:
"So what is going on with izzie?"
I explained to both her and Ashton exactly what the doctor told me when I heard a tiny panicked voice behind me say:
"Daddy?"
