Charlie couldn't help but feel a magnetic pull towards nick nelson, It wasn't just his physical attractiveness it was his golden retriever personality, he was caring and charismatic.

When Charlie and his flat came to the LGBT event hosted at nicks sports camp nick seemed to share the magnetic because the two of them quickly found themselves talking. The two of them had great chemistry and ended up spending most of the evening talking to each other, alone on the outskirts of the party.

After that they messaged each other almost every day. Charlie didn't feel guilty about his crush on nick, you didn't chose who your heart wanted. Nick must have felt the same way because he kept asking Charlie to go places and Charlie kept agreeing. They both wanted, needed, to spend time together.

Nick had a dog called nelly who Charlie immediately loved, the two of them would walk her places. They also went to the cinema or just hung out in shopping malls. But they never met at home. If they met at Charlies flat people might find out about them and if they met at nicks, well Charlie was afraid he wouldn't be able to stop himself hooking up with nick if they were in private. At first their dates were officially not dates, just two people getting to know each other.

Charlie really liked nicks personality, it was the perfect balance of traits. Nick was mature and confident with ample life experience. But he hadn't lost his childish spark, he was active and playful. Charlie loved running around with nick and nelly, in those moments the three of them hadn't a care in the world.

Over time they dropped the pretence that they weren't dating, and just embraced the fact that they were. That being said they still didn't tell anyone they were dating, they hadn't even told anyone they knew each other and hug out. But that didn't matter, when they were alone they were happy.

When at a café they would split the bill, but one day nick invited Charlie on a proper date to a nice restaurant where the prices on the menu made Charlie slightly giddy. Nick had a lot more money than Charlie, who came from a well off middle class family so wasn't struggling but he was still a uni student. While nick had a successful business.

Even though Charlie had never been to a fancy place like that before Nick made him comfortable with plenty of goofy jokes. The fine dining and expensive food was a nice new experience, but spending time with nick was the main course.

After nick payed the bill they went back to nicks house. That night they cuddled and talked, enjoying the warm glow of each others presence. As Charlie drifted off to sleep in nicks arms he looked up at nick who was running his fingers through Charlies curls and gazing down affectionately.

As they smiled at each other Charlie realised how happy nick made him. The best moments of his life had been when he was spending time with nick. He thought back to all the times they had been together, walking nelly, talking over cups of tea, being in bed together, in all of those moments Nick had made him laugh.

Charlie was pretty sure he was falling in love with this man.

He started spending the night at nicks house and a lot of his days.  The two of them would eat and sleep and cuddle and watch movies together. The sex was fantastic, Charlie appreciated how experienced and skilful Nick was in bed, but there was also a passionate intimate connection that he hadn't felt with anyone before.

People started to suspect that Charlie was in a relationship, he spent so many nights away from the flat and had a spring in his step that only came from one thing. The two of them were spending so much time together and Charlie had practically moved into nicks house. Nick had even bought Charlie an expensive new drum set that now sat in one of nicks spare rooms that Charlie had turned into a music studio. It seemed like they were on the verge of becoming a committed relationship. But they still hadn't told anyone.
